Karangasem
Named after a renowned region in bali, "karangasem" translates to "tamarind land". This drink blends karangasem palm spirit with macerated tamarind, palm sugar, a hint of local tangerine. Best paired with rendang sapi
Kecombrang Martini
Kecombrang, also known as "torch ginger," is a fragrant ingredient popular in indonesian cuisine and now featured in modern cocktails. Batavia Magic
Made with bir pletok, a ginger and spiced drink originally crafted by the betawi people to replicate the warmth of dutch beers and wines during colonial times, but without the intoxication. Best paired with tempe mendoan

We had high expectations when dining at Sate House Senayan, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. We ordered Ayam Kuning, Sayur Asem, 2 Soto Betawi, 1 Nasi Goreng Udang, 2 Es Kopyor, and 1 Es Doger, and the only highlight of the meal was the welcome drink.

The food itself was just mediocre at best, nothing special to justify the high price tag. Given the cost, we expected rich flavors and quality ingredients, but everything tasted just average, lacking the depth and authenticity that good Indonesian cuisine is known for.

The ambience? Non-existent. The place feels dull and uninspired, almost like dining in a sad, lifeless space with no character. With so many better Indonesian restaurants nearby, offering everything from affordable street food to high-end dining experiences, this place simply does not stand out.

For the price they charge, we expected much better taste, quality, and service. Unfortunately, we won’t...

Had a lovely dining experience at Sate House Senayan! We started with the Batavia Magic as our welcome drink, such a fun and unique touch. It looked red at first, but after adding lime, it turned orange and even changed flavor. Super interesting and refreshing!

For food, we ordered the Sate Ponorogo (chicken skewers) and Pecel (a classic Indonesian salad with peanut sauce), both were delicious and full of flavor. The Soto Betawi was another highlight: rich and creamy beef soup with coconut milk, served with emping (Indonesian chips), a fried egg, and corn cake. Comfort food at its finest.

To finish, we had Es Buah and Es Puter Doger, a nostalgic coconut shaved ice dessert that was light, sweet, and perfect to end the meal.

Great service, beautiful ambiance, and an overall lovely place to try elevated...

I have been eating here for years in Jakarta and Bali. Today I ordered via GoFood the usual mushroom satay I always like. And when it arrives, they use completely different mushroom that has completely different taste. Why you guys just be honest that the mushroom satay is out of stock rather than put harm on your quality and standard and then disappoint your customers?? I manage to get a refund for the mushroom satay from Gojek but the waste of time and energy to file a complaint its so disappointing. For the price you charge most dishes here, please set your standard, this is something unacceptable to do from a restaurant. I hope you guys learn your lesson. I never disappointed in any Sate House Senayan...

We were getting take out and expecting something nice and tasty as in the other Sate House Senayan like we have been before in Jakarta. This is our first time visiting the Bali outlet as it is near our house. The tahu telur and the tempe mendoan were good. The es buah was ok. The es campur, however, was horrible. My es campur was very tasteless as in no sweetness at all, like someone is forgetting to put anything sweet/syrup inside and there is no fermented cassava inside as written in the menu. I wish the staff would have informed this before we ordered the es campur. I hope this can be improved in the future as my family has been a loyal customer for decades in Jakarta.

Very underrated restaurant!! The staff are the nicest people and the food was so delicious. I had been craving the chicken sate with peanut sauce for a WEEK, so I brought myself here and ordered an ungodly amount of food for one person - beef sate, chicken sate, pecel (vegetables with noodles and crackers), and some rice. They also don’t use seed oils to cook their foods (unsure about sauces). The only feedback I have is that there should be a Sate Campur so we can try all the sate 🤣 otherwise I wouldn’t have had to order a plate of beef AND chicken sate! This whole meal costed 400k, but it should feed two people - I brought half the meal home for another day😆
