Candy Villas by GenuineHost — Hotel in Pulau Bali

During our recent visit to Ubud, Bali, we had the pleasure of staying at Candy Villas by Pramana during 4 nights.

The location of the hotel was a major highlight for us. Situated outside the bustling center of Ubud, it provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Though there were some scooters passing by, we quickly got used to them, as they are quite common in Bali. The breathtaking views of lush rice fields with children flying their kites added a touch of authenticity to the surroundings. Moreover, having a few restaurants within walking distance was convenient, even though the choice of eateries in the immediate neighbourhood was limited. Nonetheless, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as the restaurants we did try served exceptional food (Good Day, Takir restaurant).

The villa itself was an idyllic retreat. Offering ample privacy and tranquility, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The fact that the rooms were only cleaned upon request proved to be ideal for days when we wanted to relax and stay at the villa, giving us complete control over our schedule. The well-maintained garden with its lush greenery and plants added to the beauty of the place, creating a refreshing and calming ambiance. Our rooms were also fantastic, equipped with all the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay.

The service was top-notch. From the moment we arrived, we experienced warm hospitality, exemplified by the efficient airport pickup service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, which made us feel truly valued as guests.

We definitely recommend this villa to anyone seeking a green and calm villa experience, away from the hustle and bustle, and immersed in the natural beauty of Bali's countryside. It's an oasis that we would love to return to on our future visits to this...

We stayed at Candy Villa for 5 nights. For us the stay was an unwinding process from our busy lives. My toddler son loved the place. Right in the middle of rice fields and being part of nature was a pleasant & detoxifying experience. Cleanliness was given top priority although some wear and tear can be seen in the property. Small alleys can make the access to the site bit challenging but its an experience that we enjoyed and the Candy team makes sure that the access is hassle free. What works best for Candy Villa is the service and staff. Each staff strives to give you the best service 24/7 which offsets some of the cons that this location may have. They are always happy & smiling and do not hesitate to help you out if you reach out to them at anytime of the day. Unlike touristic other places in Bali this place is tranquil. We spent 3 wonderful nights at Candy villas in a 2 bedroom Villa. The accommodation is great with comfortable bedrooms and outdoor living spaces around a lovely pool in a beautiful location surrounded by rice paddies but within walking distance from the centre of Ubud (I like walking - a bit far for some people maybe but they provide free transport to the town centre too). The staff are lovely, so willing, conscientious, and happy to help (you sometimes just need to make sure you are clear about what you want - I think they worry sometimes about doing the wrong thing so if you’re unclear it can be tricky). The Good Days spa next door is great too and linked to the accommodation making breakfast and other meals easy if you just need to chill - beautiful pool and bar too.
