I recently had the pleasure of dining at Takir Restaurant & Bar, nestled amidst the serene rice fields, and it was an experience to remember. The tranquil atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable dining journey.

For my main course, I savored the NASI BIRA, a flavorful Balinese Spices Fried Rice served with a beautifully presented Traditional Puffed Egg and succulent Chicken Satay. I’ve been blessed to be in Bali for over four months now. By far the worst dining experience I’ve had. The reason I’m giving it five stars, is because Google will not show a one star.

I had the tuna Tataki. I noticed something was off, I asked my friend Tasha, and she said oh it was previously frozen. I said no way. We called over the server. She was honest enough to say not only was previously frozen. But it was microwaved. In addition we had some type of salmon salad. We both deemed it in-edible. And sent it back.

Read the lovely reviews and a small walk from where we were staying we were looking forward to dining here. Sadly the food was a serious letdown. The Duck was dryer and tougher than an old flipflop unfortunately. Very hard to remove from the carcass. The Hainan chicken rice was so very very bland and dry chicken too. The stir fry with cashew nuts was just completely devoid of flavour. Had to add some spicy sambal to be able to eat. Staff however were SOOOOO NICE really welcoming, really kind and enthusiastic.
