Hotel Shri Ganesh — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I was dropped off by my driver from UBUD. It was a serious rainy day , and the reception guy show me the room, when I saw the room, it looks nice and clean, with swimming pool, no smell, has ac... and he say 400,000per night. I told he this is not the price I want to take. Then he down to 300,000,I was felt embarrassed to make he down to 200,000. Anyway in the end he gave me the price is 250,000. I think it's reasonable in low season so I just take it,also bcz the heavy rain I thought it's better just not go other place to waste my time. But I was wrong.||Like everyone mentioned, at beginning everything was great, nice room, nice service, nice environment. When the guy ask me what do I want to spend time in Lovina, I said the dolphins things, he say he do the dolphins tour ,he can show me the price, (I did some research before I arrive Lovina) so I knew the reasonable price is around 80,000. Guess what? He gave the price was 400,000!!! I was totally shock what could that be so redicious??? And I say thats not right, I mean, this is the price too much that make me can't trust this guy. And then he try to convince me to book the taxi with other customers go around the mountain and lake then back to ubud(I forgot the name,but is way to Ubud), it sounds not too bad, I mean ,I have to know the price if it worth to do. But the price he gave me is 400,000 (dolphins tour)+500,000 (taxi share), so he gave me discount totally 800,000.||I say I dont want (bcz I know the price for taxi, I already can hire the taxi ALONE for at least 8 hours) I told him I don't want, then he turns to ask me how much I paid for the driver from Ubud to here. I told him I was the one share the taxi fare from Ubud to here, the agency in ubud they try to convince me take ther taxi, then I just pay for a lil bit expensive than bus, but somehow today the other customers just no show, I've been waiting in the agency office for 1.5 hours. In the end they decided just departure ubud.||OK, Back to the Sartaya, when the guy heard the story I told he how much I paid for the taxi. He ask me the price again. And I told him the price I want to do is too different then he gave me, so I don't want to say it. He was very friendly and say it's okay, you can tell me. So I told him I can by just shuttle bus back to ubud, dont need taxi. The price I can do totally is 210,000(which is reasonable price.) And he say no, he can't do that, I say it's fine, that too different than you want, so it's okay, I just don't take. If I do want, I will come back. Then he says: ok,230,000 is my lowest price, you want?? In that moment I know the price is ok and reasonable, but somehow I just felt I can't trust this guy anymore, he just try to took money from tourist as much as he can!!!! And then I told him thank you, I feel not very clear now, let me think about that. And he still wants me to make decision RIGHT NOW. It became more and more stressful. So I tell him thank you I appreciate for your help and information but I don't want do it. GUESS WHAT? He turns out so rude attitude, he told me: you want to pay the shuttle bus price and took taxi to ubud? Don't you know how much for fill up the pestro? Do you know the driver who drive you to here today, he is not even earn the money today. Don't think you have money, then you can do whatever you want.||OMG, I was so shock he will turns that fast! And I try to explain I don't want to do the very low price to the taxi, the agency don't know other customers will be no show today, how could that became my fault?? And he keeps not listed to me, keep saying something very implied word.||Then I tell him don't get that upset. I'm not meaning like that. ||This is just happened when I arrived Lovina, and I'm so happy I just stay here for one night, then I can leave, after that I felt so bad, and I check this hotel's review, I'm totally can understand everything the people mentioned about the way they try to rip you off.||Btw, when I'm about to sleeping, I saw my arm has some disgusting bugs stay. And the pillow just terrible yellow dirty color and mildew on top.||What kind of hotel can make you have those terrible experience? The home stay in ubud was so much value than here, the owner also so much nicer then here.||If you want to stay, just go to next door "SUMA" I think will be a 10*better choice. Thanks god just one night in here....

I had booked on booking dot com some months prior to may stay, and had communicated with the hotel re non smoking room, and motorcycle parking. Checkin time was 1400, and I arrived right at that time.||On arrival, the staff were saccharin sweet, I was offered coffee, and we talked about my having stayed there previously, and just small talk. I was then told that there was no room. They had sent a message at noon asking me to confirm, but I was on a motorcycle, enroute from Kintamani, and didn't receive it. They said that since I didn't confirm, they gave the room away, but had made arrangements with the hotel "next door" for accommodation, and asked me to go with a staff member to check it.||A staff member offered me a ride on his motorcycle, so I asked why ride, if it was 'next door'. It then became about 150 metres. In reality it was 400 metres, AWAY from the beach.||It wasn't acceptable, so I was shown another, this time it was next door, closer to the beach, but at almost three times the cost, which was also unacceptable.||The reception person then asked me to cancel and she'd accept on booking dot om. It later became clear that if I cancelled, I couldn't give a review on the booking site.||I left to find a room, and it was particularly difficult, being late December. I did find one after about an hour of searching in the heat, and then went to booking dot com and brought up Shri Ganesh. They STILL had rooms available, but at twice the cost at which I'd booked. ||It became clear that there was considerable demand, so they threw me out to take a booking at a higher price, a short term gain but longer term stupidity.||When I received the cancellation confirmation from booking dot com, it showed a cancellation cost of one nights charge, so I suppose I'll have difficulty recovering that. This organization is deceitful, At BEST.||After this experience, I cancelled my booking for March, and could never recommend a place that does such dodgey business. If I could give it a zero, I would.||This was an...

At first the resort seems really nice, the pool is very clean and looks really good and the bungalows look really fancy (from the outside). Then a guy came towards us and was showing us the room we could get. He said it was 250 000 rp and the last room available. We were retry much ok with it. Then he started talking about dolphine tour, diving and snorkling, but we really were not interested. He lowered the price every time we said we did not want to go. Finally we convinced him we did not want to book anything and he left. ||That night we wanted to go to sleep and there were insects on the pillow.. We just killed them or threw them through the door. The next day we realized they might have been bedbugs... We Googled and yes... They were bedbugs!!!! So we went to the staff and they immediately gave us a new room. We switched from room #6 to #3. We wanted to lower the price because of the bedbugs. The man at the office asked his wife and she started to be really arrogant and really aggressive... She said she would lower the price for the room #6 we were in at first. She said she would give the room for 250 000... But that was the price we got the room for at first. So we told her the guy sold us the room for 250 000 per night. Then she almost started yelling that the guy who showed us the room yesterday was from the streets and not working at their hotel. So she pointed at her husband and said "don't you recognize his face??? He was there too right?!" And I was thinking.. "Yeah he was there but he did not say anything" but I did not wanted to heat the conversation any more. Then he said I was lying... And I got really angry!! I think you really should not treat your guests like this and I did not feel welcome any more I just wanted to leave this place.||The breakfast we had was really bad too. The banana wasn't ripe yet and dry. But I heard the pineapple was better, so if you go to this place, try something with pineapple. So yeah.. This is all I can say about this,...
