Dapoer Koe Resto — Restaurant in Bali

This 10 table family restaurant nestled in between Lovina and Singaraja has a small but sophisticated menu. With a twist on standard Indonesian fare and a fusion of Balinese and Western methods, it delighted my wife and I. When we both ordered the tuna loin, the owner brought out the raw fish to show us how fresh it was—brought in at 4pm from a fisherman he knew. He makes a point to tell us he buys most of this ingredient from local farmers. It was prepared to our liking (medium rare) and accompanied by a fresh, concentrated tomato sauce, a thinly sliced grilled pineapple, urab and yellow rice. The mango juice was drag and not watered down. He also serves alcohol. Upscale dining without the high price the above meal was 95k IDR each, and the service that night also deserves...

Highly recommend this place! The food is delicious. Going to this place is perfect to have a taste of Indonesia/Bali while also being safe from the famous Bali Belly. The owner(s) have a very thoughtful concept which is ideal for tourists but also locals staying in Lovina. By eating there you support the locals (e.g. farmers) because all the food is made with local ingredients. The decorations give the place a very nice ambience, the service is great and you'll get lots of stories/local advice when talking to the owner(s). 10/10 will go there again if we come back to Bali/Lovina. recently had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant in Lovina, and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The food was excellent—each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It was clear that only fresh, locally sourced ingredients were used, which made everything taste even better.

A special touch that made the evening even more memorable was when the chef came out at the end of our meal to personally thank us for dining with them. It was a warm and genuine gesture that showed how much they care about their guests.
