Kayumas Seminyak Resort — Hotel in Pulau Bali

The google map somehow shows the wrong location so my gocar was going round and round i had to tip the guy extra for searching for the spot other than the one picked when ordered for the car.

Finally checking in, The room is high ceiling and its been 30 mins at 16 C and its not cool yet. Call before check in to turn the ac on.

The room is pretty and clean but the property is long and narrow, a little too cramped to label one as a resort. Basically you walk straight from the main entrance and thats it. No garden. All the facilities is right next to eachother. Those who checked in at the lobby and dining at the restraurant can watch swimmers within less than 10 meters away. Kinda claustrophobic for my taste. There are plenty of other resorts at with way more generous open space to roam about at the same price so...

Btw shower is detachable so thats good. I called the reservation desk ystrdy and she told me that all rooms are with rain shower. Shame on product knowledge.

Ps 1 hr and still not cold. On the scnd observation thr air coming out frm the ac is not even cold, as if its running out of the freon. It blows air but not cold fgs. Called the technician and he is checking for the outdoor unit now...... awful really. Looking for resort to see greeneries and cool room and none of that but the detachable shower, welcome drink n fruit is nice.

Staff wont help with taking gofood order to yr room and its quite a walk to the lobby area.

Making a guest drenched for 2 hrs is not nice. Just wanna rest in a pretty cold room but it aint happenin.

1.30 hrs since chcked in, technician is in action and still waiting in sweat.

At 2:00 finally in the new room w cold ac. First one have its compressor broken. 2 hrs without ac nor fan in bali is quite smthg. Would be nice if the guy escorting me to the new room offers to set up my suit on the seater as i had to unpacked and packed and unpacked again on my own, sweating. I mean i am that type of person who stays in a very cold room and not leaving the room avoiding heat and humidity, so.

4 hrs after checked in i finally can enjoy the the room. I can feel my senses is well again and enjoying the high ceiling. Love the generous amenities and indoor spaces.

Bfast is well made, but limited in options. Actually is acceptable if the complimentary condiment is sufficient. How come meatball soup only comes with broth and soy/chilli sauce? No greens, no noodles, let alone standard toppings like crispy shallot and chopped celery?

Toast only comes w strawberry jam and butter. Only those 2. Not even chocolate spread.

Btw it wasnt a peaceful stay. Room wasnt sound proofed. At 9am it is very noisy with the cleaning trolley running down the alley. On the last day before checking out i heard cleaning activities coming from the private pool in my room. Idk if they have access from the outside to the private pool area and out of a sudden entering without permission? I didnt visually checked but its noisy and the sound comes from the private pool at 9am. I was just trying to sleep for a bit before checking out.

Upon checking out i mentioned abt the google map point situation to the reception staff.

Guess how he responded?

Its not your fault that your gocar driver cnt find our lobby but not our fault either, we dont know why google map displays it that way.

The Most Incredible Stay at This Boutique Hotel

Our stay at Kayumas Hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we loved the ambiance and hospitality of this boutique gem.

Rooms: The rooms are spacious and filled with light. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a private pool, which was a luxurious and comfortable retreat.

Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea was a delightful experience and offered tremendous value for money. The selection was generous and delicious.

Cooking Class: The cooking class was one of the best we've ever attended. Chef Ngurah and Intan made the experience entertaining and educational. We learned a lot and enjoyed a feast afterward.

Swim-Up Bar: The swim-up bar was incredible. We loved the cocktails and the friendly staff who made our time there even more enjoyable.

Location: The location is perfect, with close proximity to restaurants, shops, and the beach in Seminyak. It made exploring the area very convenient.

Energy and Atmosphere: The energy of the place is lovely. It felt welcoming and serene throughout our stay.

Spa Experience: The spa experience was extraordinary. We enjoyed two hours of pampered bliss, thanks to the amazing spa team, including Spa Putri, Riska, Sri, and Indah. It was one of the best spa treatments we've ever had.

Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, with a combination of à la carte and buffet options. It was one of the best breakfasts I've had in Bali, and they were very accommodating to my gluten-free friend.

Like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert, that's how I felt by staying at Kayumas Seminyak Resort! It was an experience that I will never forget and is very memorable for me and my wife. I felt the warm hospitality as soon as I arrived and checked in. Many thanks to Mrs. Tya for welcoming us when we arrived. I also tried the activity recommended by Mrs. Tya, Balinese cooking class, which was really an exciting experience for me. Shout out to Chef Ngurah who taught us in great detail and patience, it was a moment we will always remember in our lives. As for the room, we didn't expect to get such a big, spacious and modern room with a plunge pool! All the amenities are complete, the bed is spacious, super comfy and soft, and it has a mezzanine floor that becomes a living room to relax. We felt very comfortable and slept very well. We also tried the floating breakfast provided by the resort and all the food was really good! Especially the fried noodles, egg Benedict and beef noodle soup. The food was really out of this world!
