OPLES Homestay — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Original plan was to stay only 3nights and keep on moving. Well, for some reason ended up staying for over a week. Don't know even where to start cause I simply love the place!||Location is absolutely fantastic surrounded by fields, super quiet and peaceful. Haven't slept this well for ages. Still the center of Ubud is not too far away, nice little walk if you feel like so lot of beautiful temples and other attractions just nearby walking distance. Slow walking takes around 20min to the center so not bad. The closest Alfamart 5min walk and a little further will be a great supermarket with good selection of groceries etc.||Rooms are super cosy, clean, confy, great bed and enough selfs for your stuff which is also a huge advange as most of the time cheaper guesthouses are way too simple so you don't have any place for your stuff. Definitely value for money! ||Highlight for me is always the people. Guys who runs the guesthouse are just superb, they really do it with love! They are truly friendly people who takes care of you from their heart! I'm so happy to meet such a humble souls - sad to leave but happy to have new awesome friends!||During 2years of traveling around South East Asia, this place reached the very top level! ||Don't forget to use the kitchen if you feel like cooking and coffee is also tasty :)||Whatever transportation you need, talk to the guys before chasing a bus. Especially for 2people the price might be quite same. They can take you for half day tour, full day tour, pick up from the airport or where ever, drop you off etc. Or renting scooter is also available. If you're looking for peace, quietness, real people - you have found the place. 3rd time here and well, somehow just keep coming back ;) Love it! Ubud center is really not that far as you might think, good exercise and no worries, scooter rental is also available. If you're hungry you don't have to walk all the way to center as there's many warungs nearby. Pepito supermarket is quite near aswell plus other small markets so life is pretty easy here.

There's no traffic sounds, no honking motorbikes, no party music.. Only fabulous peaceful atmosphere next to the rice fields and couple ducks that keeps you smiling.

Rooms are very nice and clean with a comfortable bed, hot shower and nice balcony for only 100 000 rupia, situated close to the town center. ||Two lovely guys will welcome you and do everything for you ! They can give you a lift anywhere you wish and cook for you as well. We had lovely times out of the hotel with them as well . Going in oples stay is like going with a second family. ...
