I found Ledang’s workshop on Google Maps while looking for someone to fix two broken beaded necklaces. My friend had bought them in Bali some time ago and asked me to take them with me on holiday to see if I could get them repaired. Ledang did an incredible job!

The necklaces now look absolutely stunning. He carefully cleaned the beads, added tiny extra ones to enhance the design, and restrung everything using a much stronger thread — all while keeping the original length. He even drilled larger holes through each individual bead to ensure the necklaces would be more durable.

My wife and I stumbled across Wayan by chance and we are so glad we did. He is the most amazing teacher and encourages creativity. We had in mind a particular design but knew we would need a heavier weight and Wayan was so helpful and understanding of what we wanted. Really good experience making jewellery. The guy was a real master and it was only us two so we had his full attention and help. He let us do all the steps of the process but always helped when we needed. We chose simple design but he can do a lot of different things.
