The Palace itself was majestic, very well maintained, clean, beautiful for photos and free entrance. Where i need to give a bad review is the condition they keep the animals- birds in extremley small cages, and a samoyed dog (usually lives in cold snow areas) is locked in a cage w only a stale bowl of water, dog was hyperventilating and laying hopelessly in the cage. Such a lovely temple nestled away in Ubud. Wonderfully well maintained and clean. When we visited there were hardly any tourists. May be only 2 other couples. No entrance fee to take photos. Well posted signs where visitors are not allowed to go but the grounds themselves can consume half an hour to one hour if you...

Awesome palace to visit in Ubud. Surprisingly no one else visits this place. All the statues and carvings are magnificent though some are quite grotesque, but beautiful nevertheless. It’s still a private home but opened to the public. There is no entrance fee and it’s free to enter.

Es un lugar que transmite paz y al mismo tiempo te sorprende con la riqueza de su decoración. En la parte baja del templo hay piscinas y pasa el río, rodeadas de vegetación y estatuas que parecen cobrar vida entre el agua y las plantas. Esa zona es simplemente mágica. Las esculturas, muchas de ellas adornadas con flores frescas, hacen que cada rincón sea digno de una foto. Da la sensación de que no importa hacia dónde mires, siempre hay un detalle que atrapa tu atención. El contraste del agua, las tallas en piedra y la vegetación exuberante crean un entorno único y lleno de belleza. Sin duda, una visita imprescindible si viajas a Ubud.

Awesome palace to visit in Ubud. Surprisingly no one else visits this place. All the statues and carvings are magnificent though some are quite grotesque, but beautiful nevertheless. It’s still a private home but opened to the public. There is no entrance fee and it’s free to enter.
