I had booked Villa infinity for my wedding in April 2019. ||We inspected the property back in August 2017 as we loved this villa and it was the perfect size/layout for our wedding. ||||The villa was to include a driver, butler, welcome drinks upon arrival etc. ||||Upon arrival we were greeted very quickly by the villa manager. 'Very quickly' meaning a quick hello and then he left. There was no explanation as to how everything works at the villa, will the staff be there 24/7, how/who do I contact, how does breakfast work, how does the driver work, which rooms do we have etc. No welcome drinks or anything.||||We asked the ‘security guard’ out the front if he could give us a lift down the road, we paid him as we weren’t sure if he was our driver and had no way of contacting anyone as we were not given a wifi password and there was no other staff on the property. ||||The lack of service then continued throughout the stay so I messaged the villa manager (who’s number I had to get off my external wedding planner), and expressed my disappointment the following day of check in.||||I explained that the first night, 3 beds had to be changed as there were spiders and bugs covered in the bed, the rooms were full of bugs, some rooms did not lock properly (my sister actually got locked in her bathroom one day) and there was no communication. There really was no care factor towards my complaints from the manager and I felt this throughout our entire stay and following up after we left. ||||The supervisor/butler did apologise after this and a couple of times during our stay (he was lovely) however it was too late at this stage and the issues did not stop. ||||One morning we had to ask for a few towels to be replaced as they were full of holes and rips.. when you pay thousands of dollars to stay here, you would expect better!!||||To add to all of the above when entering the kitchen one day to ask for something 2 of the staff were kissing, so unprofessional.|||| I also explained to the villa manager that we had paid for every drive as we were not explained who our driver was or how it works.||||To top all of this off, on our last day, my dad was ELECTROCUTED! I usually would never submit complaints like this however this is when I was fed up and decided to submit a formal complaint and requested for this to be passed onto the owners, as this could have ended tragically. ||We had the staff check if this was due to the wiring, and upon checking we discovered sticky taped wiring (see attached picture). This electrocution resulted in my dad having severe shoulder pain and he could not let go of what he was holding, he also has burn marks at the bottom of his feet from the exit wound. This could have ended so much worse.||||To add to the frustration, upon booking this villa in August 2017, we inspected the games room that the villa had, which included a pool table, couch, air con, tv etc.||One of the main reasons we booked this villa for our wedding was due to this room as the grooms could get ready in this large, air conditioned room with entertainment. ||||Upon arrival we were shocked and disappointed to see that this room was full of mattresses and the pool table outside. The boys were then forced to get ready in one of the little spare rooms which mind you we had to request that the air con be fixed the day of the wedding as it was not working. ||||To top all of this off, I expressed all of these complaints to the villa manager not only during our stay but after, I requested compensation as the experience and service we received was no where near worth the amount of money we had paid to stay here, the villa manager accused me of this being my plan all along and advised that the owner wanted nothing to do with my situation. ||He also referred to the villa as ''falling apart when i originally booked'' so I should be happy with what we received during our stay. ||||I have received better quality and service in villas that I have only paid a couple of hundred a night for rather than thousands. ||||Poor quality, poor service, extremely unfortunate as it could be an amazing villa if it was fixed up and run properly.||||Thankfully due to our amazing external wedding planners this did not affect our wedding day however I could not wait to check out...
Read moreI have taken time to send all of those to outsite and despite saying "oh, we're sorry" they did not change a thing. So... I'll set your expectations right. Overall: Overpriced and easy to fix problems that don’t get fixed Pros: Property layout, it's also really pretty. Cons: No laundry included as advertised (you can give it to the staff, but you'll have to know that and pay for it. Some people were going far to do their laundry until I told them) Warm water cooler (every other accommodation in Bali has cold water) You see those pretty bathtubs in the pictures? Hold your horses. They are dirty, and some are broken (you need to put a glass upside down to stop water from running away. You're welcome) Weekly room clean (every other accommodation in Bali had daily room clean) - this means all the gecko poops are on you - I was spending some time every day to clean those up. Plus even during a weekly clean no one noticed some huge poops next to my bed. Whatever lived there - it stank (pics attached) Coworking space is basic and basically sad. Not many people actually worked from there and I stopped it after 3 days No international plugs in coworking space The communal fridge was not cleaned for a looooong time The sheets I got after first week had blood(?) on it. The walls were chipping, the curtains were stained My shower spelled like... A public toilet in a train station. (to move your imagination) Plastic roof over a part of the room is an awful idea - it gets warmed up really fast and when it rains - it's LOUD. And I mean loud enough to wake me up. There's no real community management or community at all. For a company that literally has "community" in their website title there's nothing that would be building up A COMMUNITY. (pro tip: putting digital nomads into one building will not automatically make them create a community). The place is way overpriced for what it is. I did not get any significant business ideas or anything (which I did during my stay in other places) In summary, there are much better options for the money if you want the service you would expect at this price. You can get a villa for that and you will be as alone as you are here....
Read moreI stayed at Villa Infinity with a group of friends and family in April for my husbands birthday. Villa Infinity was booked with only a few days notice for us due to a prior cancellation. Staff managing this villa are lovely & helpful, the grounds & pool are AMAZING but unfortunately the rooms need some love.||To summarise, outdoor bathrooms were not cleaned, outdoor bath smelt of vomit, bath tap & one shower head in master did not work. Floors hadn't been moped/cleaned & were covered in dust & dead insects. Safes in some rooms were broken. Doors in many rooms did not lock. Airconditioning in one room was broken. The sheets/towels need replacing as they are stained/very old (we were advised they did not have any replacement linen). ||The small bungalow room (the romantic room) had no hot water & there was an animal (mammal) building a nest in the roof above the bed. Our guest had to move rooms as it was burrowing all night & debris from its movements continued to fall on the canopy and bed. | |Kitchen didn't appear hygienic. After dinner on the first night the staff left food/bones on the kitchen bench. The following morning the kitchen was swarming with ants with the bin overflowing before staff arrived to prepare breakfast.||To top it off, we were advised check out was 10.30am however at 10am another group were being walking through the property and rooms. ||Our guests loved the villas communal areas and pool, but the rooms and attention to detail need...
