Believe staff are trained to be mini white supremacists - even though there were other people (all white) still sat in this cafe at 8 when closing I was the only one the girl approached to say they were closing. Two other Caucasian people were still sitting there with no signs of moving or leaving even at closing time and the girl simply went back to folding some cardboard.
Also staff are more obsequiously polite to white people and not bothering to greet me when I walk in or bring me menu when I sit down. White people also like to interrupt when I’m ordering and ask for something while I’m doing so and no apology for their behavior - barbaric, much? it’s like they’re always in patterns of insecurity and need to be rude to those they are racist to in order to feel good about themselves 🙄
Edit in response to response 🤣: yea I returned and the same thing occurred where no one said hi and I just “sat there” since it was a repeat of the same thing / maybe the staff need to learn social skills esp when it comes to other Asian customers : solo females like me that maybe they don’t know how to simply speak to the way they would to Caucasians ie they seem very very timid towards me like they are reluctant to approach or something or even speak to. Lmao that they recognize me and still repeat their behavior… also have since been in and ordered but I as the guest almost have to do their job for them when with Caucasians they are clearly trained to be more high energy and inviting. But by your response it seems that as the owner you lack situational...
