Hotel Evora Surabaya — Hotel in Surabaya

The service of this hotel is really good! Here was my experience with this hotel... Just for sharing, feel free to read when you have time.

I needed a shower cap for me and my mum for the type of shower head in the bathroom and we can request that free of charge on the receptionist counter. They gladly sent the shower cap to my room.

I waited for a transport to pick us up in the lobby. While waiting, one of their staffs come and being us a free cold sweet drink. It's a really nice gesture for a budget hotel!

I needed a tape and a scissors for packing my souvenirs in a card box. I asked the receptionist if they have anything to help me pack my stuff? They lent me a tape and a scissors for this, free of charge.

Well, is you can see, the bed sheets were clean and the toilet is okay, even though there was some pee smell coming out from the shower room before we took a bath. But the rest are cool! For TV channels, not only local channels, some international channels were provided. Wifi is good. Breakfast was buffet. So...

Could be better. Hotel front office entrance is on the right side of the building with parking spots for cars all around it. Restaurant has its own entrance at the front of building, with another door inside to the lobby.

Room is on the smallish side with clean shower/toilet, but if you only need to crash then it should be okay. My brother's twin room has mold on one of its beds 😣🤐 though... I would have thought the managemen could do better than that.

Only Indonesian breakfast is available during the two days we were there. However you can always get some fried egg from the staff, who were very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Location wise, it is quite close to hospitals and one mall.

In all, the hotel is lacking maintenance; some areas need to be fixed before...

As a hotel close to the biggest national hospital in the middle of Surabaya city, this hotel offers decent price (rp300k-400k) for the service they provide. The breakfast is pretty complete even though there aren't not so many choices. It is also close to Universitas Airlangga so perhaps I can say this hotel is the best choice if you have business to do related to dr Sutomo Hospital & Universitas Airlangga. The room is also clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and parking lot is pretty huge with wheelchair access. There are many food street available with cheap price since a lot of students live...
