369 Shanghai Dumpling & Noodle — Restaurant in Surabaya

The food & service quality is far from my expectation. It's rainy night when i visited 3.6.9 around 8.30pm

First thing first there's no greeting from the staff, it doesn't matter for me but i think greeting = warm welcome for the customer

That time only 3 tables (including me) are booked, and there no more customer. I book rice, stir fried mix vegetables, sweet & sour chicken crispy, & Pork Ribs Noodle

Service : 2/5 (no greeting, slow service we wait for around 15 minutes till the simple dish come)

Food Presentation: 2/5 (Far from the picture at the menu, we really understand that picture is only ilustration but at least present the food to the customer as close as the picture because when you serve picture as visual trigger for your customer to choose the menu, then i do believe they already have their own expectation for the food they'll get) Taste 2/5 : this restaurant is famous with their noodle menu, i know it because i'm a reguler customer since elementary school. They've tasty noodle soup & tasty chinese food, but it's a no for the food served to my table. The noodle soup is tasteless, it quite as same as hot water mixed up with chicken stock power & onion The vegetables no taste at all, no sweet, no savoury, even there's no such a taste of garlic (while chinese stir fried food always use garlic inside) The sweet sour chicken, there's no sweet and there's no sour taste. It taste like crispy chicken topped with cooked tomato sauce mixed with some vegies

The only one i can taste the flavour is pork ribs cutlet

Price 2/5 : with such a price, i think we can get better food & beverages from this restaurant

Please bring back the tasty...

Depot 369 is one of the legendary Depots in Surabaya. It has been quite sometime that I did not visit this Restaurant.

I visited one of their outlets in the east of Surabaya, located in the busy alley of Restaurants in Jl. Manyar Kertoarjo V.

I was ordering the legendary "Ayam Tim 369", Mie Caciang, Xia Long Bao and Kuotiek. It tastes Yummy. The service and taste meet my expectation. Bravo "Depot 369"....

Food is OK, but the service was really bad. We went for a group dinner of around 20 people, only 1 waiter attended us. The food serving was slow. We complained that some of our friends didn't get what they ordered while others have nearly finished their meals. We had to complain 3 times before the waiter took our complain seriously, only to find out that the waiter took wrong...
