Hotel Neo Gading Solo — Hotel in Surakarta

Neo Gading solo is one of the new Aston group hotels in Solo. The hotel is quite small, and the location is on a corner, access is rather difficult because you have to cross a red light. Parking is also not much, only about 10 cars. Fast check-in process. There is a welcome drink infused water. The 1st floor contains the lobby, restaurant and meeting room. There are 2 lifts, one passenger lift and one service lift. The corridor was quite narrow because when there was a HK trolley, my stroller could not pass, I had to carry + fold the stroller.||The room is comfortable, the AC is cold, clean, the Wifi is fast, the TV is very clear and there is a Google nest in the room to replace the phone. There is a kettle. For drinking water, a dispenser is provided in the corridor and we can take it using the one provided in the room. Honeymoon requests are provided with art towels, fruit platters and greetings on TV. Amazed because even though it was 2 stars but it was approved for the request. The room area is sufficient for a 2 star class, unfortunately the bathroom in the shower section is rather narrow (only 1 meter). Because it's still new, the mattresses and pillows are soft, sleep well, the sheets and covers are clean without stains. The amenities in the bathroom are standard, there is a hairdryer and a dispenser for shampoo soap. Towels are provided 2 towels + 4 towels made of art towels.||The breakfast is decent for 2 stars, there are cakes, spiku, plain bread, salad, fresh fruit, infused water and orange juice, chicken porridge, chicken soup, coffee tea, omelette, white rice, fried noodles, mustard greens, fish, potatoes. Worst hotel i've ever stayed in Solo.. booked 2 rooms for 2 nights.. in reality the room was far from the standard of 3star hotel.. we only stay in the room for less than 30 minutes.. the room was dirty.. bedsheet looks like been used and not changed.. found few hairs on the pillow.. many stains on the wall and the bedsheet.. toilet bowl looks like never been cleaned with many brown stains on it.. the worst part, our room was full of cigarette's smell, although when we were checked in we already requested for non-smoking rooms. Even though our payment was not refundable, we chose to lose our money than to stay in a dirty room. Funny part, when we went down to the lobby, the elevator was having trouble and its door keep opening at 2nd/3rd floor and took few minutes until we finally reach the lobby floor. The receptionist didn't even bother to ask the reason why we only stay for 30 mins. I have stayed many times at Neo Hotel chain but this was the worst among others. Save your money and time by do not staying at this hotel. For rate 500.000 per night, you could get better...

Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐|The staffs are very kind and helpful. They helped me to print out my document.. ||Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐|Room and bathroom are clean. But the toilet on the 1st floor need some extra care.. ||Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐|You can easily find restaurants, convenient stores (alfamart/ indomaret), and others. And it's is closed to Arabian-Moslem Community and stores. You will find many middle East foods here. ||Parking alot ⭐⭐⭐⭐|Accomodates less than a dozen cars, the staffs will help you if you have any trouble with parking your cars, for motorbikes, it accomodates 15-20 units.. ||Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐|For a budget hotel, the foods taste is good.. ||Technology ⭐⭐⭐⭐|In every room, there is no traditional phone.
