Niagara Hotel - فندق نياكارا — Hotel in Ankawa Subdistrict

The rooms are clean. That's the only positive. Be prepared to carry your bags up a flight of stairs as there's no elevator from the reception. The hotel air fresheners are so strong that they give you a headache. The rooms are TINY, and have just a tiny window. There are no adapters. When contacting the reception, they said they didn't have adapters. This is strange given that electronics and small appliances, such as hairdryers, are sold in Erbil with a variety of types of plugs. Also strange because they are used all throughout the lounge areas. THE MANAGER WAS UPSET THAT THE RECEPTION CONTACTED HER ON HER DAY OFF (and told us to stop taking her time) to ask questions about our stay. Sorry, but this was a simple inquiry, and someone should always be available to answer such questions. I used to stay in hotels 100+ nights a year, and I have never been told that I was inconveniencing a staff member. I didn't even stay the night. Left after 4 hours, and went to another hotel where managent jas been nothing...

The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly and professional.. it’s a one floor hotel but like 5 stars hotel they even put tooth brush and toothpaste in the bathrooms along with combs and sewing kit.. the lobby is super nice and cozy.. they offer 24/7 coffee and tea.. it’s true that they don’t offer breakfast but for me the competitive price along with service and the cleanliness of rooms thats more than enough.. one more thing the hotel is a part of big complex that contains a beauty salon, pharmacy and exchange shop and they offer parking spot for the cars. And one of most famous Arbil kebab restaurants Soliman Kebab is like 10 meters away...

This Hotel is definitely great. After a long travel we prepared and packed for a flight in this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing and helped us very kindly with all the questions and struggles we had. The rooms are great, very clean and modern and the breakfast was very jummy!
