This was my third time at Beit El Farasha in old Akko and all I can say is wow!! This time I attended the cooking workshop with family and friends and it was a magical, emotional and authentic experience that I will always remember. The host, Cathy, vetted and connected with super talented local Arab women that shared their family recipes and stories while we had the pleasure of acting as sous chefs in the extraordinary remodeled space of the Beit El Farasha kitchen.
We were at least a group of 20 and prepared more than 5 different dishes- lots of laughter- joy- sharing and caring.
We had a chance also to go to the rooftop for extraordinary views of the sea and city and peak into the comfy and meticulously maintained rooms at this boutique hotel.
Definitely will be back and can’t recommend enough if you want to experience something unique...
Read moreThis is magic place. I came to Acre/Akko on bike from bike from Haifa looking for a Hotel to stay during the weekend to relax from the ever going pulse in Tel-Aviv. The first Hotel i checked out was crap and this one was next door. From the start super friendly service and a sympathetic attitude. I was shown the room (the hotel has only 2!) and it was so nice, so well built, fresh and calm. Big room. Cosy bed. Good bathroom. Silent. |I loved it and would recommend to anyone. Nura, in the reception, was extremely helpful and gave som many valuable tips on places to eat and go. She helped me find a repair guy for my bike because I had a flat tire.|All in all this boutique hotel is soo fine and if available when in Acre - book it wether it is solo, couple or more...

The penetrating power that is embedded in Beit Elfarasha (quite literally as there are stones implanted under the floor emitting positive energy) is a “journey” not to be missed. This is my second time at Beit Elfarasha but my first time participating in their cooking class which, in addition to revealing the secrets of the local kitchen, opens the hearts and minds of all those in attendance from the Arab cooks to the international tourists passing through as well as Israelis coming to Akko for an exotic indulgence. And then after a filling meal, you can go upstairs in this converted Ottoman building, to your luxury suite and take a good afternoon nap to prepare for later adventures in the...
