Melisende — Hotel in Acre

Highly recommended! Melisende is a wonderful place to stay in Akko. We loved it so much we stayed an additional (3rd) night and tried a different room, which was also fabulous. The rooms are beautifully renovated in historic buildings with extra high ceilings and exposed brick and rock. They are very clean and quiet and furnished beautifully. The staff are super friendly and even gave us recommendations for sites to see and places to eat. Breakfast, which is at their sister property nearby, was delicious. I stayed in Melisende 1 and it was really marvelous. Completely private, secure, and very spacious (750 sq ft). To be in a 500-year-old building in the Old City modernized with beautiful touches is really special. Service was very accommodating and the breakfast, though it starts late at 8am, was extravagant. Our stay at Melisende oasis was excellent. We came as a couple in October and shared a heated pool with two rooms. We had our private bath and shower. The room was spacious, with a charming medieval feel. Service was excellent, with quick availability via WhatsApp. Breakfast was good and closeby in the alfanar coffee.
