If you're looking for a budget option to stay in Tel Aviv for only a few days this hotel may be an option, however you get what you pay for. Check in was easy and fast, friendly staff, however the sound isolation level between room and inside hall is literally none. You can hear every person walking by your door, and since the hotel is located on the highway, you can also hear cars driving by all the time and drivers using the horn constantly (and trust me they do this a lot in Tel Aviv).||Bed was OK, general cleanliness was average, I didn't have hot water so I had to go ask for it and they had to activate something from outside so we can take a shower. Water from the shower spilled everywhere as the doors were not sealed. Somebody had forgotten boots in the bathroom cabinet, I don't know how long those were there but smell was noticeable. I guess all those things can be definitely improved but if you want a place only to spend the night and then go out and do things outside all day long, this may be the option you are looking for. Location is also not the best if you want to walk around, but if you take a cab (or even a scooter, which are now available everywhere for a very small fee) you will be able to reach any place fairly quick.||Someone at reception activated some sort of alarm about three times when we were sleeping, very noisy so we couldn't sleep well. I guess I wasn't...
Read moreFrom May 1st to May 8th 2023 my sister and I had a holiday in Israel. The vacation was wonderful except for our shabby, crappy hotel. It is La Guardia Hotel, 9 La Guardia St. in Tel Aviv. My sister had a room overlooking the intersection of highways and thus providing a night-&-day traffic noise. My room didn’t have a window! My bathroom and shower cell were terribly small. Everything was either lacking (e.g. a safe deposit box) or dirty, worn or broken. The service was bad. Our sheets were not replaced the whole week, our towels were replaced only once, no cleaning of the rooms whatsoever (the thrash bin was emptied once). The manager, a Russian who has been living in Israel for 32 years, still hardly spoke any English. He was a grumpy guy, never smiled to his guests and could be heard bullying his housekeeping son every afternoon. They seemed to be quarreling, everything in Russian. One day we returned to the hotel and weren’t able to open the front door. The manager was visibly lying on the couch 1 meter away and at first refused to open the door for us. Incredible! The hotel is cheaper than most hotels in Tel Aviv (a terribly expensive city!), but the price-quality rate is bad....

Shower with hot water, however the water goes all over the bathroom floor. |Basic bed. Fridge in room for water to be kept cold. TV was hard to work. But by day 2 found the English Channels. |Use Google for everything as the hotel reception staff have no clue, about buses, or restaurants. Aroma cafe as recommended for breakfast which was great.|The tours are expensive so had no choice but to keep within our budget and book this hotel. By end of day 3.. it was OK you get what you pay for. |Staff starting being more friendly and was welcomed with good morning and hello at the end of each day. It's the small things. |There are improvements to hotel from previous reviews. |Wi-Fi is brilliant. So make good use of it, to get about. |Would have given 3 stars but 2.5 Is worthy. |It's not average. But definitely not poor. |If you want more .. spend an extra £1000 and look for something on the beach front. |The no. 83 bus takes you into Jaffa |The no. 31 takes you to Carmel Market and few minutes walk to beach. |Anything cheaper than this hotel will be hostel. So...
