Trulli Antica Fonte — Hotel in Alberobello

First of all, the property is very charming in the exterior, but inside it is ugly. Don’t be decieved by the pictures.

When we checked in we were told check out was at 10:00 am. The property only has ac in the kitchen, so you barely get the feel of ac in the bedroom. Believe me it is very HOT here in the summer. The property does not offer hand soap or bath soap. Cero amenities.

There is no one on duty at the property, sonif you need a taxi, a recomendation you contact the property manager through whats app and ge does not help at all. We asked if there was a place we could store our luggage from 10- 1, and he said there was no place that they were not a hotel.

One morning, while I was changing, a lady burst the door open babbling in italian. We were in shock.

Our last day at 9:40 am, we were taking puctures outside, tk which the lady comes over telling us we had to leave at 10:00 and give the key to her. We did not know what to do, we didn’t know this person so I contacted the manager through whats app. It turns out she eas the cleaning lady. I told him she was very rude, to what he answered he did not think she was rude. So at 9:55 am I contact the manager again, to let him know we had given the key to the lady, and we had left and were definitely never comong back and I was going to post a bad review, to what he answered: “I honestly don’t care about your review, and I don’t have time for this.”

Please don’t stay here! There are many other properties for the same price or lower. With charming facilities and most importantly with helpful staff with nice manners and...

This place would have been 5 stars. When I first checked in and for a while it was. This changed when the guests got in next door and I realized there was ABSOLUTELY NO sound isolation between the rooms through the door. The 2 suites share a door (which must be paper thing) as they sound like they are in my room. A little talking occasionally I wouldn't care about. But they immediately turned on the TV. I do not for the life of me understand people who watch TV on vacation. I just wanted peace and quite here but I can't have that. I have to play music rather loudly just to drown them out, which I do not want to have to do. They probably think I am the one being rude with the music, but I was 100% quite until they turned that TV on. Honestly I would have given it less then 3 stars for this reason if it wasn't for how nice it is.

The bedroom is situated in the original trullo. The accomodation also includes a bathoom, an extra bedroom with 2 beds, and an ample sittingroom with TV and coffee machine. The historial centre is just some minutes' walk away. There are no facilities for preparing your own breakfast, which is a pity. Instead guests are provided with vouchers for breakfast at MyLife, a nearby coffee bar: just orange juice, coffee, and a croissant. Guests have access to a garden.||The guest cannot communicate with the host before arrival. Our host had tried to reach us in order to tell that he would be a bit late to hand us our keys, but the number he had got from our organisation proved to be the number of Expedia!
