This place is the Disney World of Italian food (in a good way). If you love Italian food (and I do!), this is the place for you. The hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful and the scenery/beach is beautiful. But none of that is the reason to stay here. The reason to stay here is THE FOOD! For lunch and dinner, they will make you anything you want and it is amazing (Note: you need to be on the full board plan to enjoy the true Disney World nature of the restaurant). We have now been here twice and everything we have eaten has been fantastic. You sit down, and they start by asking you what pizza you want. As they are making the dough from scratch, you can pick from seafood, to spicy sausage, to margarita, ham, mushroom and any combination of them. It is all so fresh and good. Then the pasta. Maybe a truffle pasta, amatriciana, carbonara, bolognese, primavera (I’m not ashamed to admit we had all of these in just 3 days). They make it all, and they are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Things got so silly, that we started testing their ability to make… a lasagna, for example I figured for sure that would throw them. Nope, just give them 25 minutes and it was delicious. Lobster pasta, no problem. Ravioli, of course! After that, you have a full choice of entrees, filet mignon, entrecôte, veal chops, lamb chops, sea bass, sea bream, snapper, shrimp, prawns, chicken, lobster. Anything and everything you can imagine. And, it’s all served in a beautiful outdoor poolside setting. Then to top it off… how about a chocolate soufflé. Just wow. This was our second visit. The first time we went, we had been warned not to stay for more than a few days because you just can’t eat like this every day for too long. Well, we did, and then came back for more. Do anything you can to get here at least once in your life. You won’t regret it (although your waistline might).

Hotel Pitrizza is a one of a kind property that offers unparalleled service in a truly stunning environment. We spent a week at Hotel Pitrizza in late September as part of our honeymoon. The grounds are immaculate and the guest rooms are spread out across the property in multiple small buildings which gives a sense of space and privacy. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Sardinian style and include every imaginable amenity, including robes, slippers, and US power adapters. The beach is perfect—it’s quite large, with small lapping waves and soft sand that extends all the way into the water. There are two main dining options on premises: The Grill and Bar Pitrizza. The breakfast buffet (served at Bar Pitrizza) is extensive and high quality, including eggs made to order. The daytime/lunch menu at Bar Pitrizza is somewhat limited, but has something for everyone. The Grill restaurant offers a fine dining experience. The staff are extremely attentive, exceedingly professional, and routinely go above and beyond to meet guests needs. Everyone we encountered, from reception, to the concierge, housekeeping staff, beach attendants, waiters, and bartenders were an absolute pleasure and seemed to genuinely care about providing exceptional service. The only downside to this hotel is that it’s not within walking distance of bars, restaurants, or shops, but if you are looking for a relaxing, secluded environment, there is nowhere better. We would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Pitrizza to others and look forward to seeing how the property changes now that it is owned by LVMH/Cheval Blanc.

Hello, the location it’s amazing but the hotel is really over priced for the quality of the rooms , it’s so out dated , the ac not working properly and very noisy , and no coffee machine or kettle, some days we don’t want to have breakfast only coffee in the room and we couldn’t , only one restaurant and bar , the service was good though , the towel boys on the beach was rude claiming they reserved the sun beds for other families, which unusual specially the family came like 3 pm , when we ask the hotel for late checkout they refused at first then I insist to talk to the manager she extend to 2 instead of 4 although am platinum member with Marriott, we been to couple of other hotels around the island which is amazing and reasonably priced .

While the hotel is well-located and its design had definitely once been able to ‘wow’ its guests, it doesn’t strike me as a luxurious place; mainly due-to its service.

Let’s agree it’s quite expensive to stay in this hotel and you would expect it to be outstanding, however, I found myself being disappointed. I felt like the hotel tries to take an advantage of its wealthy clients.

I don’t mind paying 30€ for Aperol Spritz if it’s really worth it. They don’t even offer you any olives or nuts to go with it - it’s simply served in the most ordinary glass and it is indeed your most ordinary Aperol Spritz.

Next thing is that the lunch at the main restaurant is a buffet (which I don’t really like, but it’s my personal preference). It’s priced at 100€ per person and you get an average selection of meals: spinach and rukkola were not fresh, desserts were tasteless and sushi were not any better than the ones you would find in your neighbouring supermarket. To avoid being totally negative I have to admit that their barbecue was fine. So why would I pay 100€ for a buffet if I don’t like it? Simply because I didn’t know there was a different option (which is small a la carte at their bar or room service). Firstly, the receptionist who welcomed us never explained us their rules, she never gave us a standard introduction of their restaurants. What could be easier than saying ‘our main restaurant offers a buffet-lunch, if you want a snack or a light dish - you could find a la carte menu at the bar’.

When we visited the same restaurant for the dinner, they only offered us ‘a menu for 200€ per person’ at first. As I don’t eat a lot, I asked if they only offer a menu for dinner and they immediately brought ‘a la carte’ menu. Why don’t they ask their guests what they are after and present all the options available? Instead they try to make you go for the most expensive alternative.

It looks like they don’t want you to make a choice and it’s the same when it comes to finding a spot on the beach. On our first day we had to take the ‘only available transats, as the hotel was fully booked’, even though the beach was empty when we came. They keep certain transats for certain guests, apparently the same ones that used them the day before. However, when we left none of the original spots we were interested in was taken and the beach was still half-empty; the ‘ghost clients’ never came to occupy their well-allocated spots. This is the least efficient system I’ve ever encountered and I didn’t come across the same thing anywhere else.

Also it looks like there is only one person taking care of the beach and the swimming pool, so you end up feeling ‘lost’ or looking for staff to help you settle.

Finally, when checking out, the receptionist didn’t even ask how was our stay and if everything was nice, he simply took payment.

There were other little imperfections that the hotel of this level should never let happen (like an empty bottle of San Pellegrino left in a bush of our bungalow), but my point here is that this hotel is just a part of the chain which is a money making machine so every guest is treated like ‘a wallet on legs’. I don’t blame any certain member of staff. I truly believe all of them were nice and tried their best to do their work properly, but they are a part of the commercial system that is far from real luxe.

Although I still enjoyed my stay and I don’t discourage anyone from visiting, I do prefer boutique hotels or less commercial yet equally...

The last trip to Sardinia was my fourth visit to the island in the last 12 years.||Porto Cervo is a destination chosen for being one of the most luxurious and prestigious locations in the Mediterranean coast.||On the list of hotels we were supposed to visit were places like Cala di Volpe/ Romazzino A Belmond group hotel /7pines a Destination by Hyatt.||In the past we have stayed at the Cala di Volpe hotel, this time we also did a review of the resort: 7pines a desination by hyatt.||After visiting the Pitrizza hotel I can honestly say that it is a place that goes beyond European standards.||Hotel location:||The hotel is located 2.5 km from the main port in Porto Cervo. The property occupies a huge area with a beautiful private beach and a small marina for motorboats and potential guests who want to dock using a tender and sleep on a private yacht.||Hotel design:||Nothing to add, nothing to subtract - the hotel is made in the style of other prestigious properties in the Costa Smeralda area and is a combination of modernity and Mediterranean style. Comparing the quality of workmanship to e.g. 7pines resort and desitnation by Hyatt, we immediately see the highest quality of workmanship with real wood/stone - there is no feeling of cheapness and currently ubiquitous plastic and fakes.||Hotels in places such as Mykonos or Marbella are also far behind.||Accommodation:|We have a choice of spacious apartments located in a very discreet way as well as luxurious and prestigious villas that provide maximum comfort and privacy. The villas are equipped with their own swimming pools integrated into the surroundings, which gives the impression of even greater sophistication and luxury.||Service:|European standards differ significantly from places such as the Maldives/Seychelles or top locations in Asia. In high-end resorts you always feel exceptional.|At the Pitrizza hotel, for the first time in Europe, we felt like we were in a completely different part of the world. The service at this hotel is totally top of the notch. From opening the car door to taking you to your private villa using an exclusive buggy (we have never seen such club-car models anywhere).||Restaurant:|The exceptional level of service and atmosphere began at the abundant breakfast buffet. The restaurant service is very nice and has an amazing approach to guests. The views from the restaurant and its terrace are breathtaking.||Summary:|Comparing this hotel to the ultra-luxurious Belmond and Cala di Volpe, I have no doubt that this is something completely unique that exceeds the understanding of those traveling in Europe.||A big thank you to the entire front desk team as well as manager Anna Sobueva for the hospitality and...

No primeiro quarto estavam hospedados minha mãe e meu irmão, no segundo estávamos eu, meu marido e minhas filhas, e no terceiro quarto, hóspedes desconhecidos.
