Hotel L'Aiglon — Hotel in Ayas

My teenage son and I had a last-minute short ski break in Champuloc in February. By the time we booked there was very limited accommodation available and we ended up staying at Hotel L’Aiglon. As it turned out, this proved to be a very lucky turn of events as the hotel was perfect for our stay: very friendly and helpful staff; comfortable room; excellent breakfast (including gluten-free options); central village location; and excellent value-for-money. The hotel staff have been great, very friendly and helpful, the room and hotel in general is spotlessly clean and although basic have everything we needed for a short break ski trip. Parking was available in the underground car park. The breakfast had a huge selection of hot and cold food available and lots of delicious pastries. The hotel itself is a short 5 minute walk from the ski lifts and is on the main road through the village with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short stroll. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel L'Aiglon. Firstly the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The room was fine, next time we'd opt for one with a balcony! Comfortable bed, great shower. Plenty of storage and hooks for all our ski gear! Breakfast was in a lovely sunny room and there was plenty of choice for all nationalities. It's a slow 10 minute walk to the gondola, we opted for storing our gear there, although you can use the hotel's. Wellness centre was a perfect end to the days skiing.Definitely recommend and...
