We came to Bolzano from Innsbruck to visit some friends. Since the city was fully booked for the dates we decided to stay in this "hotel" since there was no other options.||||We came at 2 pm on a really hot summer day and there was no one in the reception even they say the service is 24h. We found out in a banner sticker on a second door that the check-in time started at 4 pm!!!||||After coming back two hours later and during the check-in the receptionist tried to inform us in a really poor English that the check-out time was at 10 am (...)||||The room is pretty basic. ||||Small and low quality towels, two separate beds that you would need to rebuild every once and then and a shared balcony with the room next to.||||If you consider yourself fan of Berlusconi that's your hotel. You couldn't change to any other channel on the TV than the one who shows 24/7 Italians drama queens sponsored by the national Gigolo.||||Finally, in the next day morning try to find the exit in a corridor full of dirtt bed sheets, towels...

Read moreWe stayed three nights in September. The room was basic but comfortable, although tea/coffee making facilities are not provided. To use our small travelling kettle, we unplugged the TV, which only seemed to have Italian language channels, anyway. Both bedroom and shower room were clean and tidy. The main sights of the town are an easy 20 minute walk away and a circuit, taking in Castel Roncolo, provides excellent exercise. On our arrival, the receptionist was very helpful and informative. Car parking could be a problem. A card, provided by the hotel for 50 euros (repaid when the card is returned) allows free parking in white-lined public car parks. We were fortunate in finding a space right outside the front of the hotel, but, at busy times, the only available places may be up to 300 metres away. Although our room faced the Via Roma, we were not unduly troubled by traffic noise. Should we ever return to Bolzano, we would have no hesitation in staying at the...
