Lovely setting for a romantic dinner in a gorgeous courtyard with views across Certaldo and the surrounding hills. We had a dinner at sunset which was incredible. The food was also very nice the duck pasta, ox cheek and desserts were delicious!

Drie overnachtingen gehad in dit prachtige gebouw in het oude gedeelte van Certaldo. Uiterst vriendelijke host, welke ons nog een korte rondleiding gaf in het gebouw. Eenmalig geluncht, wat goed was. Genoten van het verblijf, in zó’n schitterend gebouw! Ontbijt prima, sfeervolle ruimte. Pal naast hotel de kabelbaan naar beneden. Vanuit Certaldo is het tevens goed reizen met bijv. OV naar Siena, Florence enz. De benedenstad is niet heel interessant, als je het oude gedeelte hebt gezien. Tip; rijd ahw aan de achterkant van de parking eruit. Scheelt je een hoop zweet tijdens het afdalen van de weg er naartoe. Prima te rijden, ipv steil tegen de berg op!

The owner Alfred was very welcoming and was nice to see the owner on site every day and playing the piano for the guests. The Restaurant is very good and the manager Adele is very professional and accommodating, we had a great experience there. A splendid location after a chalenging uphill ride with the bike. The staff was very friendly. By accident we and the owner have a common friend in the jazz music scene and so we had a nice chat at our table. . The view from the restaurant terrace is stunning.
