Wonderful appartments situated perfectly next to the lake and a nice and very clean pool (but stick to the rules, otherwise you will be in BIG trouble!!!). The toilets near the pool area are clean but could use some soap and toilet paper. The appartments are very nice and very clean. The beds are actually fantastic. There is a nice bar next to the appartment building and also a lunch restaurant. It is not expensive and good food. In the evening, you can walk to the centre, which is very pittoresk or you could drive to Riva del Garda and eat ice cream at Cristallo (who have delicious homemade ice cream and very friendly personnel.||We have visited this place at least 10 times and we love it. We always ask for a room with a view and garden. Many people come back year after year because of its cleanness, location and peace and quiet.||The kitchen could be better equipped with an oven, micro-wave, etc.. ||It is best to visit San Luigi without kids unless you have perfect contol of them and they stick strictly to the house rules.We have visited the place many times with our three boys, who also love the place, but you must be OK with the owners telling them off if they are noisy, play with balls in the pool...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Residence San Luigi during the last week of May. We wanted a hotel that had a small kitchenette and minimal room service (we didn't want to be disturbed) so we could do our own thing for the week. Residence San Luigi was the perfect place. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully furnished, and there was room service only one morning. The bed was very nice and not like the typical European beds with a divider in the middle. We had a very nice room with a balcony overlooking the lake, which was also equipped with a small table and chairs. The best part was that the stay was half as much as any other hotel in the area! The only thing we sacrificed was room service, which we knew we didn't want or need anyway. The atmosphere at Residence San Luigi was very relaxed and quiet. I'd highly recommend it for young couples who want a cheaper place to stay where they can also cook meals. The front desk staff were very nice as well and helped us book a tour to Venice. Just at the lake Garda and walking distance to Limone. A perfect match for a short or even longer stay. Theese apartments feature a fully equiped kitchen, and some of them a nice lake view (not unobstructed by other buildings). Appartments are spacious and clean. Everything was working properly oncluding WiFi. In Limone just 10 min walk via a rocky beach you will find a lot of shops, bars and resturants with delicious food. So there is no need to use the car. But if you have one, there are plenty o things to do around. You can also take a small boat and go to Malcesine where you can use a cable car to get to almost 2000m. Views from there are just...
