One of the best pizza's we've had. We came to visit Limone with kids and first thing we did was to find a beach to have a quick dip. We found this love beach right next to Gimmy Bar. We always usually try and avoid any restaurants at the front of a town,they usually serve the worst food ever,but kids got hungry and we couldn't be bothered to walk so wanted to give the cafe a try. Prices are very reasonable, €7 for margarita pizza, €8 for salami pizza. We got 2 salami pizza,portion of chips and 4 drinks and it was more than enough to feed 2 adults and 2 kids and wow the pizza was absolutely delicious. Proper homemade pizza with gorgeous, delicious toppings. They told us when we sat down that we would wait around 30 minutes for the food but we didn't mind as the kids just carried in playing ,swimming while we waited. Auf Los geht’s Los mit der Bewertung für das Gimmys. Eines vorweg - ich kenne das Restaurant seit über 10 Jahren und frage mich in 2022 … Was ist hier passiert? Vor 3/4 Jahren hätte ich mit Sicherheit 5 Sterne 🌟 vergeben.

Ok - Los … wie:

wie Humorlos - um nicht zu sagen Unfreundlich … Und das trifft hier mittlerweile auf alle Kellner zu! Uns hat Alex bedient - freundlich wie der Küchenfeldwebel in der Gebirgsjägerkantine. Muss man froh sein, wenn man nicht angeschnautzt wird. Beruf total verfehlt … 🤷‍♂️

wie Geschmacklos - vor 3/4 Jahren hätte ich noch gesagt, dass die Pizza 🍕 Diavola mit die Beste am Lago wäre … jetzt war es eine „Durchschnittliche Pizza“, eher anzusiedeln im unteren Bereich. Salat und Spaghetti waren auch nicht der Hit. Cola war aus … unvorstellbar für eine Bar am Strand.

wie Lieblos - das Essen lieblos zubereitet und auch so serviert … auch hier wieder „Bundeswehr Kantine“ - obwohl … da hatte man mehr zum lachen …

Einen 2-ten Stern gibt es für die wunderbare Lage direkt am See (obwohl man davon nicht abbeißen kann) und für die Preise, welche aber für geleisteten Service und die Essenqualität immer noch zu Hoch sind.

Die Hoffnung auf Besserung gebe ich nicht auf und werde nochmal vorbeischauen … wie gesagt, noch vor 3/4 Jahren hätte ich über superfreundliches Personal und super Essen...
