Hotel Virginia — Hotel in Diano Marina

Hotel Virginia is very close to the beach and boardwalk in Diano Marina. The family run hotel was our first stop in Italy from France. The owners were lovely people and all staff were friendly. ||We enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning. ||Wifi access is in the comfortable lobby. ||The room was very spacious and had a nice view from the balcony down to the water and to the mountains. ||The only 'negative' was our shower. It would go from warm to boiling hot and vice versa. We had to be very careful not to be burnt. But to be honest if we'd asked the staff, I am sure it would have been fixed. ||This was a great start to our Italian holiday. The hotel is an excellent example of Italian hospitality. ||Our room was serviced each day and bathroom supplied with toiletries including shoe shiner, sewing kit and shampoo etc. ||||We would recommend Hotel Virginia to family...

More than a simple 3 stars hotel! It was an absolut pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff was always friendly and forthcoming. The receptionist was generally really nice and had some interesting stories to tell. The attendance afirmadable, thought us some Italian and later even prepared our favorite dishes beforehand. The rooms were simple but more than enough. Every room has its own balcony, most with the sea in view. The food was variable, always great and additionally plenty of drinking options to choose from. 4 courses at least, sometimes 5 as it is the Italian way. The city itself is quite charming with a broad promenade, surf or windsurfing sport, long sand beaches all paired with the typical Italian charm.

Eccoci qua a fare una super recensione perché la merita tutta... Sin dal nostro arrivo abbiamo respirato da subito una cortesia ed una ospitalità genuina e simpatica che ci hanno conquistati. Partiamo dalla titolare Annalisa persona splendida per tutto( già percepito nelle telefonate intercorse per la prenotazione avendo anche un problema di salute ci ha tenuto lo stesso la camera ) : gentilezza , simpatia , cordialità , voglia di far stare bene il cliente cosa non scontata ormai al giorno d’oggi...insomma non bastano solo questi aggettivi per descriverla ... potremmo continuare ... Passiamo a Barbara sempre alla reception persona che non c’è stato giorno che non ci accogliesse con un sorriso e la sua gentilezza , super attenta ai bisogni dei bambini sopratutto nel momento della merenda 😉 ci dispiace solo non essere riusciti a salutarLa ... Passiamo a chi sopratutto x una mamma é una manna dal cielo per qualche giorno/ settimana... Iniziamo con Yamile che ha pulito sempre con amore e super pulizia la nostra camera ... tutte le mattine e le sere ci accoglieva con simpatia e sorriso ... grazie veramente Poi passiamo ai nostri super camerieri Luca e Mimosa... Luca persona super gentile , simpatica , attenta a tutti i bisogni e mai sgarbata anzi pronta a soddisfare ogni richiesta ... Mimosa la nostra super cameriera che ci ha coccolati , disponibile , sempre con una battuta pronta che rallegrava le nostre colazioni , i nostri pranzi e cene ... a cui i nostri bambini si sono affezionati tanto ... E poi lo chef che dire ha sempre soddisfatto il nostro palato anche di nostro figlio celiaco e intollerante al lattosio... perché anche se l’hotel Virginia non è certificato AIC fanno gli stessi piatti anche senza glutine e lattosio... La posizione è ottima, senza attraversare nessuna strada si arriva a tutti gli stabilimenti , in 10/15 minuti si arriva al centro di Diano. E' sicuramente un hotel che vi consigliamo volentieri e in cui torneremo sicuramente con piacere.
