Relais Maria Luisa — Hotel in Fiumicino

Terrible experience. I have been traveling throughout the world and stayed at many locations of different price ranges, but this is by the far the worst treatment and experience I have ever received by a host. ||||Firstly, the owner calls me 12 days early and tells asks me where I am and that I have a booking for the same day even though the date was 17-18 Aug (12 days away)||||Through email correspondence, I ask the owner "Alberto" if he has a shuttle service to the airport in the morning to confirm what I have read by others in the reviews. ||||He offers me a shuttle service to the airport, and gives me a number to call in case the transport doesn't show up. Well, I should have realised that something was odd by his comment, because why wouldn't the transportation show up on time?||||I call the number at 05:30 AM since there were no transportation, and was told that the shuttle was on its way... only to call back 10 minutes later when it still hadn't arrived. ||||I call again, and they tell me something in Italian that I couldn't understand and hung up. 20 more minutes pass as I am calling and nobody is answering and then as they finally answered a guy told me in english that NO transportation had been booked from Relais Maria Luisa. ||||I checked on the internet for a taxi service and they arrive 15 minutes later. ||||The result is that the check in closes and I end up paying 278 Euros for two new Lufthansa tickets with a 9 hour stay in Munich. ||||When I spoke with the owner, he simply told me that "It is not my problem, it is your problem"||||Had I known that the owner wasn't a serious person I would simply have booked a taxi days before, but I trusted that the owner knew what he was doing through our email correspondence where he twice confirmed our shuttle, only to end up hearing that this was my problem not his...||||Then he tells me that he specifically told me to call a taxi in case the transportation doesn't show up which is completely dishonest. (He never mentioned a taxi) ||||My advice is that I don't recommend anyone staying at Relais Maria Louisa, unless you are willing to pay a high...

We had booked a room in this B&B. We haven't be avvised before the same day that the reception was open until 10PM.||We arrived with a late flight, thus we had not the possibility to stay in the hotel at the indicated time, and had to find a different solution, paying another hotel.||Nevertheless, the hotel owner has decided to charge the same the entire amount of the night as a no show, despite we had to cancel the reservation because of the reception closing at 10PM and us not being advised in time.||If the owner would have send at least a mail before, we could have canceled the reservation before and on time. Really terrible experience. I often go to hotels in the Fiumicino and Ciampino areas because of early morning flights, I for sure never again...

Il Relais Maria Luisa è situato in una zona tranquilla, facilmente raggiungibile. Il parcheggio libero davanti non è un problema, si trova sempre posto . La struttura è ben tenuta, accogliente e pulita. Nella casa è presente un soggiorno con cucina (dotata di condizionatore ) in comune per le camere, macchina per il caffè, toast e microonde, per ogni camera è comunque previsto un tavolo per mangiare. Analizziamo la camera: funzionale,pulita e dotata di condizionatore. I materassi sono risultati comodi, cosa da me molto gradita e non sempre facile da trovare il doppio cuscino nei letti. Tv e frigo in camera. A disposizione anche il fornellino con pastiglie per le zanzare. Molto gradito anche il set da colazione. Nell’armadio è presente la cassaforte. Analizziamo il bagno: credo che sia una delle rare volte che trovo un bagno degno di nota, più di un bagno è una stanza da bagno, spazioso e dotato dei confort necessari, il set da bagno è fornito insieme ai teli per ciascun ospite. La cabina doccia è molto spaziosa cosa molto gradita. Analizziamo l’accoglienza: il signor Alberto si è dimostrato gentile,una di quelle persone con cui ti piace chiacchierare, una di quelle persone che ti farebbe piacere avere come vicino di casa. Sono rimasto soddisfatto ed ho trovato un giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Bravi...
