Hotel La Ninfea — Hotel in Ischia

I am surprised at the negative comments as this was a great hotel to stay in. The room we stayed in was clean, quiet and had everything in it that we could possibly want. The view from the balcony was beautiful... I believe that being able to speak Italian helped, although it was clear that they were able to speak English if required.||||The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and very generous with their time, ensuring that we had a good understanding of what was available to see and do, and helping us plan our stay of 5 nights.||||The food in the restaurant was good, although we only ate there one night and there were places I preferred elsewhere on the island. Breakfast however, was great! So many different options and if you're hungry, there's definitely enough to fill you up!||||The hotel is not in the centre, but looking on the map it's clear that this is not the case. It is definitely within walking distance from the centre, although it is quite hilly. We used this as the perfect excuse to walk off what we ate.||||Overall Hotel La Ninfea is definitely...

It will be rare that I will be writing a bad review but after get an horrible expérience I don't have choices.||We had received a room smelling really bad and had alot of moisture. When we have complained of the quality, they said that we could get another room next day for 20 Euros more per day... Why paying more when the room is dirty?? After that we have decided to go take a look at the SPA and the water is yellow. Do you really think that we would try It? ||The ad on TripAdvisor was showing a deck where we can go swim in the Sea but It is no longer there.||What we did instead, we got right next to this hôtel at the Delfini. 4 stars and 3 swiming pools plus access to the Sea for only 100 Euro more in total.||The owner (Franco) was very rude and didnt want to refund us. Thanks to expedia.ca who did It anyways.||Again, please avoid this...

Peggior hotel in cui sia mai stato. Ci viene assegnata una camera mezza sottoterra, con forti odori, bagno sporco, capelli ovunque, lenzuola non pulite e addirittura pezzi di carta igienica usati sotto il letto. Andiamo a chiedere cortesemente alla reception di pulire la camera o di poterla cambiare e dopo che la proprietaria (penso) ha fatto una faccia sbalordita negando l’evidenza (avevamo le foto che non riesco ad allegare), ha accettato di pulire la camera. A questo punto io e la mia ragazza siamo usciti e al nostro ritorno dopo 3 ore la camera era esattamente come l’avevamo lasciata. Ci sentiamo quindi presi in giro, scendiamo per far presente al proprietario la cosa il quale ci propone un cambio camera per 40 € in più a notte. La cosa ci scoccia, ma accettiamo pensando di risolvere il problema. Invece ci ritroviamo in una camera ancora peggio della prima. Oltre a tutti i problemi già menzionati sopra il contatore della luce emetteva un suono insopportabile impossibile da spegnere simile al ticchettio di un orologio, per non parlare delle zanzare il cui flusso era impossibile da fermare in quanto entravano da un buco nel muro. Dopo una notte passata in bianco tra ronzii, ticchettii e con il pensiero di star dormendo in lenzuola già usate (dico così perché palesemente non erano state lavate in quanto c’erano capelli) e in tutto questo dover sborsare 40 euro in più, all’alba vado dal proprietario per comunicargli che lasciavamo con due sere di anticipo la stanza. Lui, anziché trovare una soluzione inizia a prendermi in giro dicendo che dovrei andare in vacanza in montagna. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata alla riconsegna delle chiavi, anziché proporci un rimborso delle due sere che ci mancavano hanno avuto il coraggio di chiederci 6 euro per tasse di soggiorno e due bottigliette d’acqua prese il giorno prima. Tengo a sottolineare che non lascio mai recensioni negative perché so quanto possono danneggiare un’attività - tutti possono sbagliare. Davanti però a un’esperienza di questo tipo dove non c’è stata nemmeno la volontà di voler rimediare, ci tengo ad avvisare eventuali futuri ospiti di evitare questo posto se non vogliono passare le nottate in bianco e rovinarsi la vacanza come è successo a noi. Ps in tutto questo siamo due ragazzi giovani e chissene frega della pulizia, siamo venuti a ischia per goderci il mare, ma qui eravamo veramente in una situazione estrema soprattutto considerando che l’hotel era un 3 stelle.
