Da Ciro al Vicoletto — Restaurant in Ischia

The seafruit pasta was super salty and the tuna steak for 22€ not a big portion and burned on many places from one side. The waiter refused to give one of us parmiggiano for the pasta since he thought that it didn't fit with the meal (what does he care, he doesn't have to eat it?!). The ordered Pizzas were super small, he said that there are only 2 Pizzas left for the day but when two of us ordered the last two Pizzas they were both super small (probably the dough only for one pizza left but they tried to make two out of it). After saying something about the size we were told that we only had to pay half of the price for the pizzas but when we paid the waiter still tried to charge 6€ even though half of the price was 4€, which they eventually accepted as a price. One of the most delicious pizza ever!!!

When I am on vacation and I want to go somewhere to eat, I always check the reviews and the rating on google. This time I desperately needed to use the toilet so the closest place was Da Ciro al Vicoletto. The staff was very friendly, they left me use the toilet and then we ended up ordering a coffee and a pizza. The service was very very fast, the atmosphere is extremely authentic italian and the pizza was one of the best and I can also say that in terms of taste and how good it is, it's comparable to the pizza from L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Naples.

The waiters/owner were very friendly and charming. We got spaghetti with shrimp which was pretty good. We also got fresh grilled Dorada which is a local fish. This was ok in comparison to others we’ve had.

The low stars are really due to the pricing. They don’t tell you a price upfront and they charged us 60 euros for the 2 dishes, plus another 9 euros for a tea, bread and even silverware and napkins! This was unbelievable. And then said service was not included expecting a tip. Their pricing took away from the whole experience.
