Here is our secret discovery which we found on our last day, on the Island of Ischia. Alessandro and Anna's distillery, the Distillerie Aragonesi, count as one of our favorite 'little doors' at The Luxury Channel, as behind this door lies a story of dedication and passion for the finest and most complex distillery processes, using only ingredients from the island. It's a tranquil place of learning, and tasting of course, and where architecture, design and the past heritage of the island meet, bottled in the finest 'distillati'. Don't miss this spot when visiting the Castello Aragonese, and plan to be able to pack a bottle in your case, as we couldn't and regret it deeply....

A gem in Ischi Ponte! We walked into this store being intrigued by the stylish look of the brand and keen to find out more about the liquors presented inside. Immediately we were greeted by the friendly host who explained the story behind each wonderfully unique bottle and the history of Ischia. Throughout the experience we really felt that a lot of thought and love has gone into each of the products. We tasted several, and each was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t resist to take one home and are excited to share it with our friends and family back home. We will definitely come back next time we are here. Thank you...

Lovely little artisan distillery, we did the tour on relatively short notice, but I think booking is preferable. The very friendly couple who own the distillery explained both the process and history of the products and building, and indeed the island itself. We then got to taste the products (all lovely) paired with the most beautiful local pastries.
