Residence Le Vele — Hotel in Isthintini/Stintino

We had a great time and thanks to Claudia. She lent us a few bits and pieces for the beach which made a huge difference. She had many great suggestions of thing to do and was able to check availability and book. The residence was spotless and well equipped, very quiet location, ideal for a relaxed holiday. ||||Nothing was too difficult to provide and when we found the plates and cutlery available was limited, this was all sorted very quickly. We were provided with hairdryer and toaster, special electrical plugs, etc. Just ask if you would want anything and usually it is available. ||||The rooms are very spacious and the seaview was fantastic. It is the ideal place to have a quiet break. The beaches nearby were also great small and many virtually private – snorkelling great, with many fish varieties. For some of the beaches it is best to have rubber shoes as they are a bit pebbly. We also did not have any serious problem with the mosquitoes – Claudia advised on what to do and also provided all the equipment. The bathroom had just been refurbished to an excellent standard. ||||The mini market nearby is reasonable and has fresh bread daily. There are also other shops in the same shopping area. ||||The swimming pool in the hotel next door had just opened and was good but if you need umbrella, etc the price for the day goes up to €15 per person, a bit steep for a family. ||||For best internet, ask for a room nearer to the office. ||||Also, ideally rent a car, as the bus services...

Very Quiet. Just what we were looking for. Close to a little beach. Handy for morning and evening swims. The bus stops outside the door which is useful for going to the beaches or Stintino. Our balcony was really big and had an amazing sea view.||||The manager Claudia is super friendly and helpful. She even dropped us to the bus on the last day as we were running late .||||The only minor issues were that guests must clean their Kitchen before leaving but there was no cleaning products or towels provided. Also the water from our shower went all over the bathroom floor. These are not big issues though. ||||I would advise people to rent a car though if they want to fully explore the area. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes walk and it's very expensive with...

We stayed in a studio for 2 people with a sea view. The residence was quiet, well-equipped and very clean. Claudia was lovely and helpful, both before and during our stay, and she booked for us the Asinara Island excursion, which was good value and an interesting and enjoyable trip. Stintino is a 20 minute walk away from the residence and has some nice restaurants and bars, and became lively and vibrant at night. We hired a car, so we were able to drive to some of the nearby cities and attractions, such as Alghero, Neptune's Caves, and the sanctuary pyramid at Monte d'Accoddi - all worth a visit. The local beach is small but pretty, and we particularly liked Le Saline beach, a short drive away, which is beautiful and was not too busy when we visited...
