It began when I came back to my locked room after a long day out and there was another guest in my room on the phone with the owner of the apartment. The owner had given him keys to my room and the guest was insisting on the phone that he believed someone was already in this room but the owner said that it was ok and he could stay there. After me and the other guest resolved the issue on our own, I went to take a shower. Upon turning on the shower the toilet pipe exploded and started flooding the bathroom and entire apartment with sewage water. I quickly tried to put towels on the floor but there was so much water covering the entire floor. When I texted the owner about the issue he simply responded with this emoji “😱”. After waiting longer and seeing that this was his only response, I texted again asking what I should do and he said “there’s nothing to do I will call the plumber tomorrow”. I then explained again that I couldn’t stay in a room that was completely flooded (with sewage water) and had gotten all my clothes wet. After a lot of back and forth the owner offered me the same room that the original guest who was in my room was also offered, but upon laying my eyes on that room I understood within seconds why that guest had quickly deserted and moved to a different hotel. After being fed up with all this craziness I left and checked into a hotel. When I tried to request a refund from the owner, I was met with complete silence! He doesn’t even have the courtesy to respond to me . If I could give this apartment a negative rating I would ! 0/10!!!! Terrible terrible place . I recommend sleeping in a dumpster over this awful apartment . Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!! Update: AFTER I POSTED THE REVIEW ON BOOKING.COM THE OWNER TOLD BOOKING THAT I OWE HIM 2000 EURO. THIS MAN IS A FRAUD AND WILL TRY AND SCAM YOU. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU STAY HERE. EVEN IF IT IS REASONABLY PRICED , THE OWNER WILL TRY AND THREATEN YOU (HE DID IT TO OTHER GUESTS WHO ALSO LEFT AT THE SAME TIME AS ME) . SAVE YOURSELF DO...
Read moreSTAY HERE AT YOUR OWN PERIL This is by far the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in IN MY LIFE. I booked it for 2 days via booking.com where they claimed to have so many facilities including luggage storage and 24hr front desk. They have nothing! The accommodation sent us a form to check in online and all was good till we arrived. It was a nightmare. Firstly, there is not one worker on ground. It is located on the 6th floor WITH NO WORKING ELEVATOR. We had to drag all our bags up and down. My friend has mobility issues and it was an absolute nightmare. The price of the room was ridiculous for the service they offer. We paid over €100 per night for such crap. The next day, we wanted to store our luggage as they offered on their booking.com page. There was neither a luggage storage room nor a personal to at least attend to us. Their customer service is non-existent and unreachable via whatsapp or call. They only message you all friendly before checking in. Worst of all, after I raised this issue with Booking, the "hotel" claimed I did not even check in despite having filled the check in form and have video evidence of my stay. They are SCAMMERS! If you want to spoil your whole Italy trip or hate your romantised Cinque terre vacation, go ahead and book this accommodation after reading this review. Avoid at all costs! A word is enough for the...
Read moreBrilliant hotel! Very convenient, central location close to supermarkets, train station and many places to eat. We were initially worried about having a shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a huge, single bathroom that you could lock for privacy that was absolutely spotless. The whole apartment was impressively clean! We booked the deluxe room for only a little bit extra, which had an awesome balcony with amazing views over the city. Management was very friendly, all communication through text/WhatsApp. Worked out great staying here to see Cinque Terre instead of struggling to bring luggage up hills and steps to the extremely overpriced hotels/guest houses in Cinque Terre itself. Only 20 minutes on train to first village from La Spezia. Definitely...
