Bella Italia Village — Hotel in Lignano Sabbiadoro

AVOID! The location might be good but not worth it. The first thing you would notice: when you walk on the premises: is the incredibly loud noise. (it sounds like crickets which are mostly by the woodlands and by the beach) but it is actually the sprinklers (when they are turned off, it just goes and it is so peaceful). By the end of my holiday, my throat was in so much pain after trying to shout over the sprinklers. Secondly, the food is disgusting with an incredibly limited amount of choices. In the morning, all of the bread rolls were hard: along with the croissants and pan au chocolat's. In the evening, the pasta was so disgusting, oily and especially salty. The person i was staying with was allergic to nearly half the menu; so we ordered just plain pasta but it was so salty: it tasted like half of the ocean was on it! I can never even think about Rigatoni again without getting ill. I had to throw out my rigatoni when i got home: even opening the cupboard was bad enough! The other dishes were awful: the sauces was so oily and tasted like a mixture of dog food and vomit: looked like it too.AVOID THE RESTAURANT! There was no plug sockets in the whole of the room; we asked about this problems and the manager offered to charge our stuff in the reception. Even the room: which is supposed to fit three people: was incredibly small! If someone sat on the chair it would take up all of the walking space; i spent half my time in the room having to walk over the beds to get to my stuff. I didn't mind the fact that the T.V. was outdated but i couldn't even use it! With no remote or the capacity to climb to the T.V: it was useless. The manager even said we won't have electricity in the room on Tuesdays. WTF?!??! i only said 2 stars because it was reasonably clean and nothing dangerous...

The food was atrocious. Never in my life have I experienced food this bad. I couldn't mess up this bad if i tried. Just to name a few flaws: The breakfast buns were multiple days old Meat was usually overcooked and dry Burger patties are served without other burger ingredients (e.g. ketchup, onions ect) Often, leftovers from the day before are re-heated or re-processed (which is fine by me if it still tastes good, but it doesn't exactly help with meat that is overcooked and dry in the first place) Often times, the seasoning is just not present or completely off Everything is served completely covered with and sitting in oil

There is no WiFi anywhere in the entire complex except in the new apartment building.

Our room has dirt marks on the wall, the beds are unstable, the pillows are hard, the TV is a 20 years old 12" tube screen, and there's ants everywhere. The brand new Mitsubishi AC is just about the only pleasant thing here. Shower and toilet work fine.

I stayed here for nearly a week with my basketball club. This place is suitable for anyone who is looking for a basic affordable stay at a holiday resort. It is perfect for sport clubs, schools, etc. as it has wonderful sports facilities and is suitable for many different sports and activities. However I must say I wasn’t fully satisfied with some aspects of my stay here. Firstly, most staff didn’t speak english including the receptionists, it was very difficult to communicate. Secondly, some of the rooms were quite nice but on the other hand some had moldy and smelly bathrooms. The food was very average it could easily be compared to school lunches. The location is beautiful as well as the beach but the resort itself does not have a very relaxing feel. I also must mention the aquapark, which was absolutely amazing. Overall, this resort is great if you are looking for...
