We stayed for a long week at Miralago and I didn't really want to return the keys on the day we left :)||Our apartment with 55 m2 and a huge balcony was really enjoyable||- separate beds for the kids worked out very well||- three separate ACs worked very well (you decide which of them are on or off, there's no thermostat) ||- having the car parked in the basement meant it was rather secure and rather cool in the mornings.||- with a 5-10 minutes walk you were at an open beach||- with a 5-10 minutes walk you had several restaurants available (in two directions)||- walking half an hour you are at La Rocca (historical sight with a great view over the Garda lake.||- wifi was good enough to keep two teenagers happy.||- breakfast was OK and after we got a small discount even worth the price :) even though you can get the same kinda food from the supermarkets 3-4 kms away.||- Our kids loved the pool and the possibility to play table tennis.||||Might be that this was due to us staying before the high season, but the area was really peaceful, even having several camping areas really close by.||- we made a choice not to be in the "disco" areas around Gardaland, but that also meant it took minimum half an hour to get to the closest autostrada.||||And our lady at the front desk made us feel like part of the family - especially since we also loved the janitor's dog :) ||||If we were to go to the same area again, I would not hesitate to return...
Read moreI've been visting this Hotel cause I've been spending my holiday on Camping Belvedere (opposite side) for years as I was a child.||The lake itself isn't my first place to go nowadays. BUT this special hotel is so fine.||Anyway there are a lot of Germans crawling around, but if you can cope with that: Book it!||I've visited a lot of places in Italy the last week. And this hotel was the cleanest and most impressive one on my journey. ||They have a nice pool and are extremly close to the lake. If you get a room to the front you could really see the lake ("miralago" = "see the lake"). La Rocca di Manerba isn't far away, so if you like views and nature, you'll like it!||It's a family owned business. ||If you go for a continetal breakfast they will do whatever it takes to make you happy...||Prices are worth it every single day (paid 65 € for a single room per Night)||So whatever if you'd like to stay in the beautiful south of Lago di Garda, stay there.||Highly recommended.||(whole thing written without any help from my mobile regarding grammar and/or words itself. So sorry for any faults in this text:*)||[have a nice stay at...
Read moreThe top floor apartment was excellent with direct views of the lake and the evening sunset. The apartments and hotel were spotlessly clean, quiet and had very good air conditioning. Included was secure parking, an electronic safe and wireless internet. The apartment had an excellent bathroom, comfortable beds and a kitchenette. There is a fine private swimming pool and a large garden. The business is family run and there is obvious pride and commitment, and always helpful advice.||There are lots of activities nearby to suit all ages. The location is a few minutes walk from Lake Garda (Porto Torchio) with good local restaurants, safe swimming, and pedal/speed boat hire etc. It is also a short walk to the La Rocca di Manerba where there are spectacular views and which includes a ruined fortress at the summit, an interpretive museum and a natural park. Miralago is an excellent base for the recently documented walks/bike trails and for exploring nearby...
