Da Rino — Restaurant in Manerba del Garda

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WORST experience with a restaurant in my life. Got there, had to wait for a few minutes but that's totally ok, the servers saw me and smiled. But when they had time they seated another group before me and my girlfriend that had just arrived and cut in line.

After we were seated, the napkin was dirty so I asked for a new one, server reacted annoyed and i had to "prove" the napkin was actually dirty?

Next up she tells us 5 of the dishes on their not so big menu were sold out. 2 of which we we wanted to order. We changed our order and ordered a bottle of wine, also sold out. the only things left to eat were pasta and fish, my girlfriend doesn't eat fish and the server angrily told her that the pasta is only per 2 persons.

At this point we had enough of this bad restaurant so we decided to leave, only having gotten the water. Once i got inside they insisted that i paid them 5 euro for coperto, which I obviously refused because as I told them, it's impossible to make use of your restaurant because everything is sold out even though they had just opened half an hour before that.

We decided to come here based on the look of the restaurant, beautiful views of the lake, busy etc.

However, we were left with a bit of a disappointed feeling.

We ordered the bruschetta which was ok at best? We live in ireland I’ve eaten better bruschetta in Dublin.

The mussels were tasteless.

The service was very poor! Very inattentive unfortunately..

The mains were actually good but the way the pasta was served was very confusing? It said we had to order a double portion but it was only priced singularly.

Overall, there was a very long wait for the food - we basically had to ask for a table, ask for drinks, ask for main courses.

Very disappointed. You even have to go inside just to pay.

Excellent Food we had an outstanding whitefish. Afterwards, we had a T-bone steak that was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The service was very friendly and efficient and went above and beyond. It was a cold night and we were sitting outdoors and when the manager saw that I was cold asked us if we wanted to go inside for our main course. That was extremely kind after the main meal. We had the ricotta cake with fruit - delicious. Yeah, atmosphere was friendly, fun relaxed, and casual. The location is right on the lake and it is fabulous.
