Nhow milan is still nwow to me. My last stay here was after Covid, in 2022, and it was always one of my fav hotels in Milano pre covid times, just a bit outside my way, but an attractive hotel in a Lively hood, made it a place of stay for half a decade.||While I was afraid to find an aged and ageing venue, it wasnt the case. The lobby is still funky and charming, and even more, or re, decorated with new art pieces, while you wait to check in, you can still help yrself to water, gummy bears and even a side coffee machine near the bar. Checkin assistant was super friendly|This time I was set in a larger room than I booked, 265, end of corridor, quietest you can have. Room was sound proof (the benefit of this old 19th century factory with heavy walls and doors which are up to date). Great blackout curtains to complete a 30sqm room dotted with an espresso machine, water bottles, amd a nice working desk. Naturally, a biiiig TV on the wall with chromecaat options.||The room closet is totally open, and allows to hang more than to store, part of the charm and design, and the bathroom had a bathtub but 0 amenities, no more sleepers, notoothbrush too. Pity.||Despite the floor being black, I could see it wasn't properly cleaned between guests, and some white crumbles and small literring were visible in multiple places. ||Cleanliness is never negotiable at this price and level, so here they lost 1 star out of their note.||One of their new additions is the very very nice rooftop bar and rooftop long infinity pool. I have to say this is rather unique in Milano, and if you come to town for leisure, it makes this hotel an interesting venue to use. |However swimming pool opening times are limited, from 09h00 to 18h00, then the place is devoted to its bar and its hip lounge atmosphere, as swimming for hotel guests is over.||Perhaps letting pool use till 19h00 would be nice for people returning to the hotel around 17h30/18h ? ||Breakfast was a highlight for me, closer to 5* than 4, large choice of fresh goods, juices, fruits, baked goods, excellent coffee too, and continuous in room services and tables cleaning. Highly professional team. Fat better than the 5 stars hilton I stayed at the day before in Turin.||The venue has some parking spots, free of charge, more available in the evening times, when the next doors offices are closed, and the neighbours stops using the hotel grounds as their parking space (to Hotel mgmt : EL employees or Elite agency workers among them).||The neighbourhood is trendy for some years, Porta Genova metro is within 10mns walking, Mudec is across the door, Armani silo is down the street, so is chaos lab, an interactive science museum for kids |and other museums are all around. |Lively hood, Navigli is behind and across, great bars and restaurants everywhere, but this hotel can be far from many central touristic points, however it is a nice hotel for both a weekend city stay or work, with a nearby access to the circular highway (Tangenziale).||To Management : please ensure that maids properly clean the rooms between guests.||So a highly suggested hotel when prices are competitive, and even more suggested during summer to enjoy the sunny design & towering pool. It deserves 5/5 if cleaning is at the level of...

UPDATE: The hotel got back to me 3 weeks after I emailed them and only after seeing this review. Their solution to the problem was to ask me to spend more money to stay at their hotel again 😂😅

This was easily the worst hotel/service experience I have ever had. I am not someone who usually leaves bad reviews but after trying to reach out the the hotel directly and receiving no response, I want to warn others. We booked nhow thinking it would be a nice chance to relax in Milan, with a swimming pool, gym and sauna for guests. So we splashed out and spent a bit more money than we usually do. When we arrived, we were told I had booked two rooms. I had not, I had emails confirming one room. Despite this the receptionist grimaced and said she would do her best to “see what she could do”?

We arrived early and were told our room was not ready for check in. The check in time advertised by the hotel is 3pm. The service desk said the room would be ready by 3pm or earlier. This was fair as we arrived early. We left and returned after 3pm, and were told to “be more patient”, and the room would be ready in 20 minutes. However, we were not able to check in until 4pm.

The Nhow website says pool is one of the included facilities. However, at reception we were told we cannot use the pool for our entire stay as it is “already booked”. We chose accomodation at nhow due to having access to a pool, and were only told on arrival that we cannot use it as there are only a few available bookings so two time slots in the day. This was not mentioned on their website or when booking. This is false advertising.

On checking in to our room we can see that the guest from the pool can look directly into our room, where the bed is. If we would like any privacy we will need to have the curtains closed for our entire stay. This was even more problematic as the wall to the bathroom and toilet are glass, and there is no door to the bathroom. The bathroom also had black mould and a stained toilet bowl. Our bed head was also missing linnen.

We tried to also use the advertised sauna. Surprise surprise, this sauna did not exist. We were told it was closed to maintenance. On our first morning in the hotel we were awoken by a noise that sounded like a jackhammer. When we went downstairs we could see that the floor by reception has been roped off and the cement jackhammered up in the morning. When we tried to check out the reception also tried to charge us for mini bar items we did not consume.

I attempted to deal with these issues directly to the hotel but despite noting our dissatisfaction to reception and emailing hotel management, I received no reply.

This hotel was dirty, unhygienic, broken, service was terrible and the website advertised services which are not available.

It is a scam. Don’t...

My brother and I went to the bar, and at that time a bartender (about 167cm, bald) was helping someone, we were waiting, he saw us and looked our way on more than one occasion, he knew we were there. We had been waiting a short while, but then 2 women walked in, both well dressed, and I could tell he had also noticed them.... Once he had finished serving the person he was helping he instantly went to help the two ladies, rather than serving us who had been there long, long before them.

This is unprofessional and unacceptable, clearly he was much more interested in the two young women than us...

I took exception to this, and I admit, I did get angry, I pointed at him and said that he knew we were first, and that he is an idiot, something I know is poor behaviour and something I should not have done but I felt that his unprofessional behavior was unacceptable.

At that point, I walked off and went to the lift, and I was facing the lifts, not giving it any more thought at that time, not looking towards the bar, and the next thing I know he is standing right next to me shouting at me. He had left the bar to come and confront me, which I was surprised by. He was shouting and swearing at me, at which point I said that he knew I was there before the women were and he served them deliberately, I told him I was going to my room and waved him away to leave me alone.

At that point I again, turned back to look towards the elevator, and then all of a sudden he shoved me while I was looking the other way. He physically assaulted me, which I was absolutely shocked by. My brother then told him to get away and that he can't put his hands on people like that and we managed to get into a lift and go to the room.

After that, as he was clearly unhinged I was incredibly concerned about what he might do. I didn't manage to sleep and I was so scared I left a glass bottle by the door so if someone did open the door, I would...

Quirky and fun interior (and exterior!) design yet functional building and attentive friendly staff. My single room was VERY quiet and the 4 meter high room made the mid-sized room feel large. The bed was comfortable and the pillows ranged in density to keep my inner “Goldilocks” satisfied. The bathroom offered privacy for those who prefer that, and the water pressure and hot water were ample. The hotel app was easy to download and navigate, allowing for room service and amenities to be ordered at my fingertips. An in room safe large enough for my oversized laptop and coffee and tea service were nice touches. For those on longer stays, there was no dresser and the only table in the room was a bit crowded for remote work. I am always overjoyed when I have a window that opens to allow fresh air in the room! Pro tip: pay extra for the breakfast! The quality, quantity, and range of foods offered at the breakfast buffet was impressive. Given the eagerness of the staff to please at every opportunity, I am confident that had I asked for a larger desk/table or anything else, they would have accommodated me. There is a Tesco a block away for snacks and many locally owned restaurants, from bistros to a 3 Star Michelin, within a couple of blocks. I’ll be back and hope you’ll visit too!

On sort, on flâne, on s'inspire. Bref, le NHow Milan, c’est bien plus qu’un hôtel : c’est une expérience, un manifeste esthétique, une parenthèse créative dans le tumulte milanais. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An arty gem in the heart of Milan – a timeless experience Staying at NHow Milan feels like stepping into a living painting, a museum infused with the spirit of design and the boldness of true hospitality. From the moment you walk in, you realize this isn’t just a hotel. It’s a universe. A contemporary art gallery where every hallway, every room, every detail tells a story. The rooms are spacious and stylish, striking the perfect balance between cozy comfort and sharp aesthetics. The bed? A deliberate invitation to a blissful coma. The bathroom? A mini spa – just right to forget the world outside. Special shoutout to the breakfast – a colorful feast of flavors: fresh fruit, crispy pastries, vegan and gluten-free options presented as the standard – an absolute win. And the staff? Incredibly professional, always smiling, efficient without being intrusive. You feel expected, respected, almost cherished. The location in the Tortona district is perfect for lovers of fashion, design, and that industrial-chic vibe. Step outside, wander, and get inspired. All in all, NHow Milan is much more than a hotel: it’s an experience, an aesthetic statement, a creative escape in the vibrant rush of Milan.
