Fiore Food & Drink — Restaurant in Milan

We visited on May 27 and unfortunately arrived after 3:00 PM, when the kitchen was already closed. The waiter offered us a tuna salad and a mixed platter of cheeses and cold cuts, which we accepted. However, the mixed platter was shockingly small — for three people, there was only one burrata, a couple of tiny slices of Parmigiano, and a very small amount of bresaola. It felt more like a tasting than an actual dish, yet it cost €20.

The tuna salad was also €20 and very underwhelming, both in terms of portion size and overall quality.

What made things worse was the attitude of the waiter. He was quite sarcastic with us and visibly rude to another table of tourists next to us, who ended up leaving because of his behavior. When we asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar, he brought them over but handed us the unopened vinegar bottle and told us to open it ourselves — which wasn’t exactly easy.

In the end, the bill was unreasonably high for what we got. The service, food quality, and portion sizes were simply not worth the price. Overall, we left feeling very disappointed with our choice to eat here and...

The place is not particularly big (it is actually rather small). When we ate there there was no air conditioning (a considerable issue given the average temperature on a summer night in Milan) hence we ended up with the door constantly opened and therefore lots of mosquitos (and mosquito bites). The place was filled up with as many tables they could squeeze which made the overall experience not particularly intimate and the restaurant extremely loud. The food was actually good but was spoiled by the overall atmosphere and by a super busy staff who was struggling to keep up with all the tables (possibly understaffed). Would not dine there...

This was not my first time eating here and I've dinned both inside as well as out as they have a lovely setting with tables outside right in front.

The food is delicious, Alessandro and his staff are really friendly and accommodating.

I went with my puppy and they welcomed us in even though my dog is almost 50Kg.
