We had a large, new and very clean room with an amazingly good bed for two nights. What you should not forget: The hotel is a CITY hotel, i.e. you cannot expect an appealing view from the window. However, it is quietly located in a residential area and we were lucky enough to be able to park our vehicles in the private underground garage. This meant we didn't have to search for a parking space, which is certainly not easy. The hotel is well connected, you can easily reach both the main train station and the metro by foot. What I would particularly like to emphasize was the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We had a problem-free check-in even though we arrived separately, we were given all the information we needed for an effortless transfer into the city and were also given one or two good tips for evening activities. Many thanks for this, we felt very welcome as guests and can highly...
Read moreWent up to a rating of 'very good' only because of two of the staff members. They were both female and very helpful to us as we were in constant need of directions. However, the day of check out we were asked how many waters were in the fridge and informed we would need to pay for them by a male staff member. Other than this issue, the stay was pleasant.||About Milan transportation to/from this hotel...if you are flying to MXP (Milan-Malpensa) this hotel is an hour away by taxi and very expensive. This hotel to Milan Centrale Station is about 5-7 min by taxi (about 7 -8 Euro) then you can take the bus from centrale station for about (8 Euro), if you take a taxi from centrale station to MXP it will about 95 Euro (it is a flat rate printed on the taxi window). And taking Uber for 4 ppl...
Read moreThe issue is NOT with room or front desk. Warning to anyone walking from Central Station to this place: you will walk past dog waste, human waste, urine, faces on roads. DONOT walk on east side of Milan Centrale to this place. It's a horrible walk. Walk the West side. We had asked for a Taxi on last day. Of course no meter, demanded cash that we did not have. Horrible experience. Milan Taxis and Random bus driver stopping work randomly is a total nuisance to international travellers. Not an issue for this hotel as much but Travellers be warned that nothing runs well on transit in Italy vs other European countries. Things have declined horribly in past 3-4 years post covid. Having said that the Front desk staff were amazing!! Kudos to you for trying. Breakfast...
