Casa Pagliano — Hotel in Noli

We spent 3 nights at this charming house straight in Noli downtown.||Positive aspects: good location (sea front, historical city centre at hand), rooms are cozy and clean, very nice house lounge with beautiful decorations and balcony, reasonable breakfast, owners/staff kind and helpful.||Negative points: room a little small, same for the bathroom, not much space for suitcases, surroundings very noisy because there's a litter collection area right across the street and the trash truck comes very early in the morning (it happened at 4 AM!!!), so because of the old-fashioned window frames, there's a lot of noise when the litter pick-up happens; there's no free parking in the area so you should ask the owner to park your car in their other mansion's courtyard, just 5 minutes walk from the house (he kindly allowed us to do it, very useful indeed)||Things to improve: a bigger, newer TV would be very appreciated, wi-fi needs to be improved (I was unable to connect for the whole stay).||Price is quite reasonable, 100 euros/night including breakfast and parking, during Easter time is ok.||Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and we surely recommend this place for a...

We stayed in one of the smallest rooms they have, called La Spiaggia overlooking the beach. Being on the sea front there may be a negative aspect to consider if you are staying in high season, which is possible noise. We stayed in early December so this was not an issue for us. ||We were informed upfront there may be an issue with the heating and were offered another room, which was quite honest from their side. But the room temperature was just fine so we decided to keep that room and were happy with it the whole stay.||Bathroom is small but has everything one needs: Shower, sufficient towels, complementary shower gel and shampoo, hairdryer. ||Breakfast was, of course, included and relatively rich, offering of a variety of sweet and salted treats. ||In addition, one should also consider the historical value of staying in such place!||So thumbs up...

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura circa una settimana ad inizio settembre. Non ha i servizi di un hotel o un albergo e non c’è nessuna reception o altro. Solo la gentil persona addetta alle pulizie e alle buone colazioni. Meglio così. Le poche camere sono situate al primo piano di una casa d’epoca e non c’è ascensore o altro per chi ha problemi deambulatori. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera “La spiaggia”. Piccola, al limite per due persone, ma carina. Finestra vista mare, bagno piccolo ma moderno (doccia strettissima). Condizionatore e tv (si vedeva solo qualche canale…). Nessun minifrigo che sarebbe stato comodo. Letto minuscolo, forse da una piazza e mezza. Io che son alto circa 1,70 ci stavo a malapena…non so una persona più alta. Le mensoline sarebbero da cambiare con dei comodini… ci appoggi a malapena il cellulare. Come detto da altri, la sera quasi impossibile dormire con la finestra aperta e pochissima insonorizzazione. Lato letto si sente forte lo sciacquone della stanza a fianco. Ci han spostato di camera per loro esigenze con la camera “Studio” da cui si entra dal salone affrescato. Camera ampia dotata di soppalco con un'altro letto e di minifrigo (finalmente!). Presente anche qua tv (in posizione scomodissima) e condizionatore. Camera dotata di un balcone che è lo stesso balcone del salone. Ecco qua ci vorrebbe un separè, perché ti ritrovi gli altri ospiti della struttura che passeggiano sul balcone mentre magari sei nudo o in mutande… tra l’altro le ante delle finestre non si chiudono bene. Tenda piena di buchi… che non dà proprio un bel aspetto…telecomando tv non funzionante…fatto presente ma non si è visto nessuno. Ha fatto due mezze giornate di pioggia e magari avrebbe fatto comodo vederla… La leva del rubinetto in bagno che mancava poco ti rimanesse in mano…un chiodo per appendere gli asciugamani….mobilia vecchio stile ma anche poco funzionale tra cassetti che non si chiudono e armadi poco capienti… Mah…tante cosette da sistemare… Sembrano camere lasciate a se stesse. Proprietario mai fatto vivo. Peccato. Possibile parcheggio nella loro altra struttura ma bisogna lasciare le chiavi dell'auto e chiusura ad un certo orario.
