Ponte Antico — Restaurant in Noli

We spent a whole week in Italy in summer of 2019. Firenze, Milano, Pisa, Cinque Terre and so on. We visited lot of restaurants of course, but I got the real italian feeling here, in this Trattoria:) At the entrance there was a man who coordinated the costumers. The food was good and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We were also given champagne while we waited which was very nice. However, once we sat down the service was terrible. We waited two hours for our food. We asked for water three times and never got any. When we communicated with the server, she said she didn’t understand English and walked away; we thought she was going to find someone who could help but she just walked away from our table and came back 10 minutes later. We ate here three times during the last week’s visit and it has been an excellent destination. The staff was friendly and accommodating despite our lacking Italian, and they were welcoming to our dog (Labrador) which is why we returned. As sometimes happens, on our last visit there was an issue, but the staff was friendly and handled it professionally and I will gladly be returning for more excellent meals (admittedly my favorites were the pizzas with anchovies or venison and truffles and I can recommend both) i only wish they would deliver to our...
