We stayed at Bergamini for four nights. ||||The pitches were very large and provided enough space for our large tent and car. Other people mentioned that there isn't enough space between the pitches but I did not find this to be an issue at all. ||||The pool is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The infinity pool provides a stunning view of Lake Garda. A lifeguard is present and a swimming cap, sold at the camping, was mandatory when we were there. ||||The accompanying restaurant has a beautiful terrace that has an amazing outlook on Lake Garda. The menu offers vegatarian and vegan lunch options. The market offers a diverse selection of bread in the morning which you do not need to order beforehand.||||Personnel were incredibely friendly and proficient in English. Some also spoke (a bit) Dutch and/or German.||||One staircase away is a public pebbled beach. Along the lake are various restaurants and a plentiful offer of water toys for rent. Peschiera del Garda is a 20 minute walk, but bicycles can be rented at the camping. ||||The camping has an eco friendly approach which is amazing! Thank you Bergamini for helping shape our future! ||||Discounted activities can be booked at the reception. ||||There were two letdowns during our stay. The sanitary blocks were new, spacious and had enough capacity for a fully booked camping. However, I highly value clean sanitary. The toilets were downright dirty in the evening.||The market, promising biological and local products, did not offer much and no products were available to whip up a simple meal. Luckily, the supermarket is a 10 minute walk.||||I highly recommend this camping for a luxurious, eco-friendly stay at a beautiful location. I will definitely return...
Read moreJust got back from a great trip! We stayed in a Maxi Garden Caravan with our toddler. We added the baby kit which was great as provided the travel cot and high chair we needed. |The caravan itself is a little tired and could do with some maintenance with a couple of the plug sockets not working and the roof on the decking leaking when it rains but these didn’t affect our stay. They don’t have an oven so you are limited to just the hob and microwave if you didn’t want to eat out. |The site itself is brilliant, such a friendly environment as much smaller than other sites nearby. The facilities are great and everywhere is really clean and well looked after. You do have to wear a swim cap in the pool but these can be purchased at the shop! The staff are really friendly and helpful. We rented bikes for the day which were reasonable and a great way to explore with our toddler. |We didn’t hire a car and used Verona airport transfers which were also brilliant. The 483 bus route is about 10 min walk which enabled us to explore other towns around the lake! |Would highly recommend Camping Bergamini and would be...
Read moreLoved our holiday in this camp. We arrived just after a major hail storm and the camp was a bit messy as a result. This did not dampen our holiday though and the guys were soon out tidying up. We stayed in a lake-view bungalow which was a good size for the six of us. The only negative about it was the lack of air conditioning in the kitchen area. This was most noticeable at night when everyone else was in air-conditioned bedrooms and me and my wife slept in the kitchen on the sofa bed. This is minor though as the holiday more than made up for it. It's situated about 30 mins walk from the town of Peischera but as other people have said, it's a lovely walk along the lakefront. The pool was absolutely beautiful with a view of the lake. There was no rush to get poolside beds either as it's quite a quiet campsite. The pool attendant was always on the watch out and I saw him giving young children advice on their swimming. Couldn't praise him high enough. Also got a private key for the beach which was a minute's walk from our chalet. Would definitely recommend...
