Original review posted on 26-05-24 - Honestly, a very very disappointing meal. We had high expectations because we were staying at this hotel, and everything has been stellar so far. But this meal was a huge letdown… the portion of the salmon tartare was laughable for €13, and the worst part was the severely overcooked beef fillet. €30+ for a piece of fully well done steak, which was so tough that it was hard to chew!! The porcini mushroom tagliatelle had absolutely no flavor either. Therefore, I’d recommend staying at the Vision Hotel, but not dining here!

UPDATE 11-06-24 - In response to the owner’s reply; we did notify the nice gentleman waiter about our disliking of the meal that evening, and he took 50% off the steak, which we appreciated, but that doesn’t change the fact that the steak was overcooked. That’s why I gave 4 stars for service, but 2 stars for the food. As you can see from my pictures, the medium rare steak was served fully well done, which was not what we requested. I wish the restaurant owned up to negative comments and explored what went wrong that evening, and how they can improve, instead of giving some snarky comment about how using my full name would give me more credibility, when I’m currently a Level 8 reviewer, with more than 480 certified...

During our stay at the Hotel Vision we often went to the Aura restaurant or were served at the pool. The staff is not only friendly, but always in best mood. The service is excellent and we look forward to being a guest again soon. A special thank you goes to Thomas, who makes every guest laugh and always puts them in a good mood. Mareike is also a really open and warm person with a passion for her job. Thank you guys for a good time...

Sulla falsariga del programma televisivo "4 Ristoranti", di seguito giudizio finale sull'esperienza nel ristorante "Aura" sito in Peschiera del Garda: Location : 10 Menu : 10 Servizio : 10 Conto : 10 ... ma andiamo con ordine. La location suggestiva, con una vista mozzafiato sul lago, punto strategico dove poter godere di un bellissimo tramonto. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo a bordo piscina per rendere la serata ancor più romantica e così è stato. La struttura ha a disposizione un ampio parcheggio riservato ai clienti, molto comodo. Il menu, una vera prelibatezza. Pesce freschissimo e di alta qualità, come tutti gli altri prodotti che abbiamo mangiato. Abbiamo avuto il piacere e l'onore di conoscere lo chef Andrea Zanin e colto l'occasione per fargli i complimenti perché alla sua giovane età, come si suol dire, sà il fatto suo. In bocca al lupo Andrea! Per quanto concerne il servizio, nulla da eccepire, anzi abbiamo riscontrato cortesia e professionalità. In particolar modo, un encomio al maitre Antonio, che con il suo saper fare, ci ha guidati nella scelta dei piatti, sinonimo di esperienza pluriennale nel settore. Il conto, giusto per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Aura: la location giusta per appagare il palato e la vista! Consigliatissimo. Sicuramente ritorneremo a pranzo per ammirare la sua bellezza...
