Hotel Borgo di Ciàula — Hotel in Santa Flavia

This is such a lovely hotel!

The rooms are clean and spacious. I stayed in an ocean-view room, which opened onto a small balcony. The air-conditioning works quite well (and is necessary in Santa Flavia in the Summer!)

Mild caution for ocean-view rooms- the piazza in front of the hotel stays busy until very late at night, which might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper.

The staff are beyond friendly and incredibly accommodating, you can tell they are incredibly proud of their beautiful property.

The hotel restaurant deserves its own 5-star review, but I will nod to it here only to say that the included breakfast is refreshing and full, a great way to start your morning.

Nice looking hotel but the customer service is awful. Waited 20 mins to get a menu and 20 mins to get the pizza I ordered. The pizza (of average quality) was missing of the main ingredient, I told the waiter about it and instead of being sorry for it, he was rather upset with me. At the end they charged me with food i did not order and instead of being sorry for their mistakes they made it seem like it was my mistake. Abbiamo soggiornato per il weekend del 1 maggio presso l’hotel. Carlo e tutto il suo staff sono stati davvero gentili ed ospitali. Avendo un bambino piccolo di tre mesi per noi è stata un’avventura ma grazie a loro che ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa è stato molto semplice. L’hotel si presenta curato molto bene in ogni dettaglio è molto pulito. Le colazioni sono curate in ogni dettaglio con prodotti sfornati dalla cucina e non come spesso succede, acquistati esternamente. La cena è da provare assolutamente in un contesto sotterraneo magnifico che lascia a bocca aperta, curata in ogni dettaglio con prodotti locali di alta qualità….una cucina di alto livello!

Ultimo ma non piccolo particolare è il fatto che è stata la casa di Luigi Pirandello per due anni e troverete delle magnifiche sorprese :) !

Devo davvero fare i complimenti perché ci siamo innamorati di questo hotel che non dista molto da Palermo ed è la scelta migliore per chi cerca relax, buona cucina e vuole visitare le città .
