Pizzeria with beautiful views that is very popular with both locals and tourists. If you're using Google Maps to get there, it's not where it's listed on the map but rather next to a restaurant called Al Faro Verde, which is temporarily closed.
La Punta opens at 8 but I noticed that they were seating people earlier. The locals told me that the later you go, the slower the service is and this was true. At 8 it was empty but by 9 it took a good 15 minutes for the bill to come (eating at 8 is early in Sicily). It takes a while to get food.
As a Sicilian, I can tell you that the delays are very Sicilian. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I've seen lots of people complain, and this is kind of how many restaurants are here. The service is not overwhelmingly friendly (especially from the owners which is unusual), although the waiters I had were nice enough, just not as warm as in other places. The pizzas are quite unique, with Sicilian twists like zucchini fries and fried melanzane (fried eggplant). They also offer fried pizza.
I had the Bologna pizza (without mortadella). I'm not the biggest fan of Sicilian pizza, which is a bit thicker than in other places, and I thought the flavour wasn't quite there. The crust was very good. I also had a glass of Cataratto which was very good. With the cover, my bill came to €23.
My best guess is that the gorgeous views and excellent location means they get away on things like service. I'm glad I visited, but I'm not sure I'd come again. If the view hadn't been there it would have been 3 stars from me, but it really is a...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at this gem of a family-run pizzeria in Porticello, we were completely enchanted. Nestled along the Sicilian coast, the views alone are worth the visit — the sun setting over the Tyrrhenian Sea as you sip a chilled glass of local wine is semplicemente perfetto.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, full of laughter, clinking glasses, and the mouth-watering scent of wood-fired pizza drifting through the air. The staff made us feel like part of the family from the get-go — so kind, so attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
As for the food… mamma mia, where do we begin? The burrata was da morire — creamy, fresh, and paired with just the right touch of olive oil and tomatoes. Every pizza we tried (and we tried many!) was made with care, using the freshest ingredients, and baked to perfection with that irresistible crispy base. The flavours danced off the plate.
But the pièce de résistance? Without question — the tiramisu. Words don’t do it justice. Light as air, rich in flavour, and crafted with so much love, it was truly fuori dal mondo (out of this world). So good, in fact, we came back three times during our trip — and every visit was better than the last.
We couldn’t recommend this place more. Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a relaxed family evening, or just to indulge in la dolce vita, this pizzeria is a must-visit.
Grazie mille to the wonderful team for making our evenings in Porticello so memorable.

Read moreResponse to the restaurant's reply: I'm sorry, but I cannot accept your response. You are completely lying. We waited around two hours to get our meal. Our plates were empty because we waited so long that we didn't want to wait another hour to change the salty pizza. I've never experienced such poor customer service; it was very rude to the customers. Anyway, I've left my comment here for other guests to read. I also shared all my feedback with your manager that day. These are suggestions for improvement. It's your choice to take them or not, just be honest. Why would I leave a bad comment if I was completely satisfied? There is clear dissatisfaction behind it. I love Sicilian food in many other restaurants and have never given bad feedback before. Have a good day!
Original first review: We came here as a group of four and waited more than an hour to get our meal. We even waited more than an hour just to place our order. I think this restaurant cannot accommodate the number of people they promise to serve. So, it's a waste of time to come here if you don't want to wait hungry for hours. Also, one of the waiters was so rude that he asked our boyfriends in Italian, "Where did you find these girls?" I don't recommend this...
