Chiosco Babilonia — Restaurant in Tortolì

The enigmatic Babilonia, a mysterious restaurant perched upon the shores of Arbatax, Sardinia is like a mythical creature caught between worlds. It exuded the aura of a Thai beach bar, yet defiantly stood its ground on Italian soil.

We entered the realm of Babilonia with trepidation, unsure of what awaited us. As we settled into our seats, a cold beer materialized in front of us, as if by magic. With each sip, we felt our inhibitions fade away, our senses attuned to the absurdity that surrounded us. And then, reluctantly we ordered calamari and marvellous platter of golden delights arrived that could have fed an entire village. It was a paradoxical moment of culinary brilliance amidst our low expectations.

But it wasn't just the food that captivated us; it was the spectacle unfolding around us. Babilonia offered a front-row seat to a daring theater of humanity. As we indulged in our calamari feast, we shamelessly indulged in the age-old pastime of casual perversion. Sunbathers of all shapes and sizes paraded before our eyes, their tans and tan lines telling stories of sun-soaked adventures.

We have been here today 22.8. at about 14:00, bar was almost full but we did not expect to wait more than 20 minutes to order food. We had mozarella with tomato, burgers and chips. All was good, prices are fair. Little dissapointment was tiramisu that we ordered at the end. For 5€ we expected more than a piece of frozen tiramisu. Payment with card...

Non è un brutto bar/ristorante e solitamente mi risparmio le cattive recensioni . Ne ho fatte davvero poche, potete controllare. Spero che risulti un invito , un invito a servire un panino fatto di quello che volete ( il prosciutto non si può tagliare perché è chiusa la cucina ? Benissimo .. mozzarella e pomodoro ?) anche se x l’ appunto la cucina è chiusa. Avete l’ unico bar in una spiaggia enorme ..possibile che due fette di pane a dei turisti appena arrivati non riuscite a servirlo ? Mi spiace ,ma dire la cucina è chiusa e basta , offrendo in cambio solo gelati e sacchetti di patatine non rende giustizia ad una struttura e ad una posizione come la vostra . Si può sempre fare...
