The location is super convenient to get to and from Venice and the airport or visit Mestre center and it is clean, which was very important.
Huge plus was the service from the front desk younger lady ( who was extremely helpful, gave us insider tips and a lot of info from the get go and was super nice), the afternoon (?) lady who was there on Thursday, may 12nd in the p.m and the man who helped us and fixed our non working TV when a 3rd front desk lady on Friday night was not so nice ( telling us all tv's didn't work and maintenance would come the next day so she wouldn't bother with us while we understood it wasn't true. As well as being annoyed with the little question or quest we had trying to get a snack or ask for an iron to prepare our clothes ahead for the next day while she pretended we werent allowed one, while we had used it the same morning). All 3 were extremely nice and we thank them.
Little discomforts though: the bed is right by the door, so we're almost by the hallway (we were at the end so it was OK for us); not really a 4 star as you can see in the pictures; a drunkard knocked at our door around 11 to midnight and thank God I was with my boyfriend, I would have peed myself if I had been alone; a woman came to us at breakfast the next morning to ask to use our phone ( after analyzing the situation, she was with the midnight drunkard and was trying to run away with our phone, hands deeply cut and seemingly addict. An italian guest came to explain to us what was happening. The front desk did apologize but how did this happen in the first place?); you have to be the first at said breakfast because the buffet isn't filled up, so if there's no more, there's no more, too bad for you. Also, no fresh juice, a sort of water and syrup?powder?idk.
All in all great staff (except one), strange happenings (I was only ok because I was with my boyfriend), convenient location, ok-ish...
Read moreWe stayed here recently while visiting Venice and had a generally positive experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location with lovely surrounding areas and excellent transport links—surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy road. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, making our stay more enjoyable.|The room was nice overall, and the fridge was a welcome addition. Breakfast was lovely, with a satisfying range of options to start the day. Communal areas had a stylish, modern feel and were mostly clean, though a bit of TLC wouldn’t hurt—some of the windows were noticeably dusty.||However, there were several aspects that need attention:|Only one working lift during our stay meant long waits.|No tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, and when we asked, we were told none were available. Would it really be hard to provide a few travel kettles, teabags, coffee sachets, and UHT milk for guests?|The bathroom lacked shelving and hooks for toiletries and towels.|The room felt a bit tired, with a splatter mark on the wall near the door.||One annoyance was returning to find the maid had tossed my clothes from the bed onto the floor. Would it be so hard just to fold them and place them on the table or a chair?|The communal toilets could have been better maintained—they were often dirty and would benefit from more frequent cleaning throughout the day.|The outdoor area felt like a smoking zone with lingering tobacco smells and dirty ashtrays. A clean, dedicated non-smoking space outside would be a lovely touch.|On our last day, we stumbled upon some vending and coffee machines hidden in the back of the lounge. They were useful—but it’s a shame they weren’t clearly highlighted or pointed out during check-in.||Despite the issues, we had a pleasant stay overall. The location and staff really made it, and if we return to Venice, we’d seriously consider...
Read moreJust got back from 5 nights at this hotel and what a fantastic little hotel it is ! Having read some of the reviews on here, I'm sure they must have stayed at a different hotel 😂 The hotel and rooms were really nice and clean.
The breakfast buffet is a good selection and although you arent spoilt for choice, there are ample options to have.
We didnt spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were out exploring the amazing city of Venice and surrounding islands. But when we were there, I couldn't fault it. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel too with extremely frequent buses to the train station in Mestre.
The rooms were clean, fresh and plenty good enough for what you pay ! The only negative would be the lack of facilities to make a drink in the room (ketttle/tea/coffee etc). There is a fridge though, which is a nice touch. There is also air conditioning which kept the room perfect. The temperatures this week were in the mid 30s !!! so having air con was a god send.
Staff were pleasant enough and the check in and out was easy.
A great little hotel overall and should we return to Venice (which I'm sure we will) then this will be our first choice again next time.
What I will say is, ignore the negative reviews on here. I appreciate not everyone can be pleased and expect the world and all the facilities that come with it. However, for one of the cheaper options in the area(and thats not a disservice at all) this is a fantastic choice and I would genuinely recommend it !
We will...
