Kakureyado Fujikawaguchiko — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

I stayed in a camper at this inn and the sleeping bag was not cleaned, very smelly and uncomfortable, and very cold. In addition, the owner's dog was littered with feces, which stank and attracted flies. The dog was on a heavy metal leash and was obviously not being cared for. I felt sorry for the poor dog.

The walls were covered with obscene pictures and posters of women, which was in bad taste. I also found it offensive that the owner casually touched my head during our conversation.

This owner demanded that I pay in cash, not by credit card.

The area is far from the city, so it is suitable for those who want to cycle in nature, but if you want to enjoy the old town, architecture, and museums, I suggest you go to the Hakone area. Mt.Fuji can also be seen...

Our stay at this B&B was absolutely wonderful! The room was amazing, very spacious (a family room), beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and very well prepared. There was even an onsen-style hot bath and a massage chair, which made the stay extra relaxing. We truly had a great time here and will definitely come back...

My best stay in Japan. The accommodation is fantastic, the room clean and the bed extremely comfortable. You can have barbecues, have fun and enjoy the good atmosphere and tranquility of the area.
