DOTEKAGE CAMP GROUND — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

After living out of a campervan for 3 weeks, we were after a nice place to settle for a few days while we explored the areas around Mt Fuji before heading home to Australia. We stumbled upon Dotekage Camp Ground by accident and stayed for 4 nights. This place has been the perfect wind down to end our holiday on. It is convenient to everything around Kawaguchiko with a 7 Eleven and coin laundry just down the road and 5 minutes into town. The camp grounds are very well looked after and the amenities are amazing and new. The camp sites are large and fairly flat with a gravel base. The staff have been amazing and even though they do not speak much english, we had no problem using google translate to converse with them.

It has been an absolute joy to stay here and I wish the owners all the best for the future.

We stayed here on a Monday night last minute (turned up without a reservation). We are travelling from Australia in a campervan. The owner was very polite and able to navigate Google Translate effectively to accommodate that we don't speak Japanese. キャビン一泊でお世話になりました。 施設全体が新しくとてもキレイです。 入口に赤い看板あり。受付まで車で入り、前精算になります。受付でスタッフの皆さんが、色々丁寧に教えてくれます。 キャビンは、テラス、半露天檜風呂付きです。 テラスには、4人がけテーブルと椅子、2ドア冷凍冷蔵庫、ハンガー掛け、タオル掛け、炭火焼きバーベキューコンロなどがあります。冷凍冷蔵庫が予想より大きく何でも入ってしまします。 バーベキューの炭も別料金で売ってくれます。 テラスの奥に、半露天風呂の檜風呂(シャワー付き)があります。HPでは普通のバスタブでしたが、実際は大きな檜風呂です。脱衣スペースには棚、鏡付き洗面所も付いてます。タオル類は無いので持参になります。ボディソープとリンスインシャンプーが備え付けてありました。 部屋には、シングルベット2台、ソファベッド2台、テーブルがあります。コンセプト、ドライヤーもありました。 トイレは共用トイレです。キレイな温水洗浄付きトイレです。 炊事用の水道も専用の場所が別にありました。 社長さんとスタッフの皆さんがとても親切で、色々気遣って頂き、とても良い滞在が出来ました。 周辺には似たような施設がたくさんありますが、ここはオススメです。 ちなみに、富士山は木...
