I ventured into Yukari no Mori Onsen on a Tour with fellow travelers, with the mindset of someone who's resigned to the ongoing early stage glaucoma, expecting perhaps a bit of relaxation from my usual routine. What I didnโt expect was to leave with the burden of glaucoma seemingly washed away.
For those who are skeptical, I assure you, my visit was devoid of any expectation for healing. I went in to soak, not to seek a cure. Yet, five days after my visit, my glaucoma symptoms have vanished, and my vision has returned to a clarity I hadn't experienced in years.
Let me be clear: Iโm not suggesting that Yukari no Mori is selling miracle waters. However, if by some cosmic twist of fate or perhaps due to its mineral-rich composition, my eyes found relief, then it's worth considering what other secrets might lie within these natural springs.
The Experience: Setting: The onsen provides a serene backdrop that might just be the setting for a real-life Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Water: The chemistry at play is like nature's own pharmacy. Sulfur, sodium, chloride, and the like might just have therapeutic properties we're yet to fully understand. Atmosphere: Perfect for relaxation, which, as we all know, can sometimes lead to surprising physiological benefits.
For the Skeptics: This isn't about belief; itโs about an experience so unexpected, it warrants further investigation. My condition was stable, under regular monitoring and eye exam visits, and this was no quick fix from a doctor's office but an unexplainable event post-visit. I was not taking any medication or drops for treatment.
Conclusion: Whether it was the minerals, the relaxation, or perhaps the universe needed a laugh at my expense, the result was the same. I was left with clearer vision by end of day than when I arrived. So, if you're looking to unwind or maybe just give the universe a chance to surprise you, Yukari no Mori onsen might just be your ticket to an unexpected journey.

ย ย ย Read moreGood location but damn poor service. When we arrived with luggage, unloading from the car at the main entrance the bellboy just stand there and watch us struggle. Canโt be bothered. They r very not flexible in their timing. We checked in at close to 10pm and when it was 10am the next morning, they alr called at 10:01 sharp to chase us down. I asked for a slight extension 1030 to check out they were Okok on the phone. When we went down, he sneakily tell us we had to pay 2,200 yen for one hour. Also, I told him that the aircon didnโt work at all yesterday and he didnโt even bother to apologise but straight up say no and show me using the calculator 2,200 yen. That was like the worst hotel reception treatment I have ever experienced. Okay, try to be flexible. Give and takeโฆ. So if u want bad service, pls stay at this hotel at yr own risk. Also, there are much better hotels in Fuji with definitely more better view. Can try mizno hotel/toki grand villa. Service was extremely what Japan is known for at those hotels I recommended. I feel that they upgraded us to this room which I thought ooo it was a sweet gesture but I realised after midnight that it could be a rejected room due to the faulty aircon thatโs not working. Thank you Yukari-no-Mori for the very unpleasant...
ย ย ย Read moreHad a one night stay here. Rooms are very well kept and bright. Our room had a good view of Mount Fuji but unfortunately the windows had bars on the outside which made taking pics a bit of a problem. Food was great with a decent selection for supper and breakfast. It's a bit out of the way but if you turn right 5 mins walk away is a decent size shopping centre with restaurants and a big Aeon supermarket and a Family Mart, which is a convenience shop. There's also an onsen on the 4th floor but didn't get chance to use. However we were told it's a segregated spa as it's one where everyone...
