I enjoyed my stay here! The staff are all very kind and the restaurant is a lovely experience! I highly recommend booking a room with a meal set. I chose a spacious room with an open air bath. The open air bath was wonderful, truly relaxing! It was easy booking directly through their website. The mobile ordering is a nice feature as well, I could easily select my meal times! The hotel wifi signal isn’t the best but pocket wifi still worked. The hotel is on a steel slope, however it is close to Gora Park and a museum. I highly recommend taking the cable car from Gora station to the next station to avoid walking up the slope. Also there are some nice views walking from the hotel to Gora station and you may find a couple hidden gems depending on the route you take.
The restaurant was definitely a good experience to remember! The food was great, I especially love their fish dishes. The udon noodles are also delicious! I ate every dessert I was served. The portions were a little too much for me but the food tasted great! I don’t yet speak Japanese however they still gave me excellent customer service! The waiter that served me was so thorough in explaining the meaning of each dish and taught me a couple Japanese words then also gave me the English translation. So I actually knew what I was about to eat! Initially I figured they didn’t have forks but the waiter was attentive and offered me a fork. The restaurant staff are all very welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. I highly suggest to book the room with a meal set! You will enjoy...

But when I reached Gora and called the hotel, they said shuttle service only begins after 3pm. Hence my family had to use Google Map and asked someone on the street to guide us the way. Loved the room we stayed in (I’m quite picky about hotel rooms) and it was really relaxing. Room was modern and big with a separate tatami area where u can lay out the futon found in the cupboard if you want to experience sleeping on tatami. They provided a traditional Japanese tea set and some mochi which were really tasty. Bathroom was on the small side but compact with everything you need. Hotel is small but the service is Heartwarming. You can really feel their sincerity when talking to you, especially the more elderly man at the reception who could speak Chinese (couldn’t remember his name). Dinner arrangement made via email was received with a prompt response from the hotel. Had the set dinner and everything was really delicious and beautifully arranged. Both onsens were very good and they were rotated between male and female usage so that you can get to experience both. The onsen room on the right had an outdoor pool and it was really a wonderful experience to soak in the hot spring water in the cold winter outdoor. Thumbs up for this hotel! Would choose to...
